I think it was good that there was a moment of silence while Frieza threatened them as Frieza's sense of menace is finely illustrated with his own words. No music does work rather well for suspense before someone does something; then enter the kick ass music. I think Faulconers music alongside moments where there is no music can work rather well because while I loved his music the truth was they felt the need to use music in every single scene in the earlier Funimation dub; sometimes it wasn't always necessary. I loved the change in atmosphere when Gohan went on the offensive. Great job. :)

Its satisfying to know that this happens right after Frieza tortures Krillin by tossing him back and forth with his head while Krillin just hangs there impaled by Frieza's horn. That scene was disturbing and to see and hear the sound of Frieza being struck in the head HARD by Gohan, the son of Krillin's best friend was awesome To Gohan, Krillin is like an uncle since he met him before the Saiyan Arc. Frieza deserves this, this will forever be my favorite Gohan moment.
Everytime Gohan fought frieza in this arc he always had the upper hand at the beginning of the fight even if it didn't matter in the end, This was 1st time, 2nd time in his 3rd form, and 3rd time in his final form.

I gotta say while I like Faulconer's tracks as stand alone tracks, I think the original Japanese music fit DBZ better but there are just some moments when the American soundtrack really nails the atmosphere of the moment. This, the SSJ3 Transformation and the Final Flash are some examples where it's much better.

I 100% agree. It captures his character infinitely better than the original VA (don’t know their name). I never thought the original VA fit for Gohan, whereas this one captures everything about him and then some. It helps that the acting is better too.

I gotta say while I like Faulconer's tracks as stand alone tracks, I think the original Japanese music fit DBZ better but there are just some moments when the American soundtrack really nails the atmosphere of the moment. This, the SSJ3 Transformation and the Final Flash are some examples where it's much better.
This was good the only problem is gohans kai voice. But I'm fine with all the other new voices.
