Its because of the chipset, but its unharmful heat, they actually do very good heat management never allowing the heat to go loose.

Hi! Have been using iPhone for about 10 years now, currently using iPhone 14 Pro Max and I’ve been looking for some change. That because I’m not a professional user, I use my phone for social media, taking daily photos and videos, Pokémon go and clash of clans. So I’m really not in need of an expensive phone like a iPhone 14 Pro Max. Which google pixel phone should I go for? The pixel 7 or 7a? Just need a stable, fast phone with good camera.

Im not much of a phone guy but im planning on upgrading to a pixel. Mainly aim for games and youtube but my gf complains about my current phones bad camera, so taking photos too hopefully. Do you recommend the Pixel 7, Pixel 6 Pro, or Galaxy S22 Plus? I am basing my decision on battery life, gaming performance for moderate to long periods, and camera quality. I use a Galaxy S9, and I was looking to upgrade to a phone under $649. I did want to improve the camera quality to something comparable to an iPhone. Has the camera quality upgraded significantly for Galaxy phones, or is the Pixel still better between the two?
It honestly depends on what you value the most out of the things you said. If gaming performance is the most important, go for the S22 Plus (although I'd say SD 8+ Gen 1 or SD 8 Gen 2 phones would actually be better cause they are TSMC manufactured). If camera quality is the most important, go for the Pixel 6 Pro. If you want a good balance of everything while also having the newest and most comfortable phone to hold, go for the Pixel 7.
I personally used the Pixel 6 Pro for over a year now and I'd say the camera quality on still photos is actually arguably better than the latest iPhone in certain cases, although the video is definitely not as good. The thing that really drew me to the 6 Pro specifically though is the 48MP 4x optical camera...because the resolution is high it's super clear at 4x and reaches all the way up to ~10x before it starts to look like a watercolor painting.
But yeah these are my two cents, honestly any of those options would be a huge upgrade from the S9. If you have any specific questions about the 6 Pro don't hesitate to ask me

7a is just a bit too pricey, only wroth it with incentives thrown in. A pixel 6a at 300-350 is easily the best value.
If it's not broken don't fix it, the back of the pixel 6 line up looks better
The Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7a are the better deal I have both of them and I'm Selling my Google Pixel 6 before it's no longer Supported and I'm gonna use the Google Pixel 7 as my daily Phone and the Google Pixel 7a as a Backup Phone or as a Beta Testing Phone. The Google Pixel 6a won't be getting major Android Updates for much longer and I think Google even stopped making the Google Pixel 6a if they haven't it's not gonna be long before they do stop making it.
