8 | Cabin Build | Week 6 | Exploring Scotland

- It's the penultimate week on the Ubuild tiny home cabin build. How much of our eco home can we complete before we move to Wales for the birth of our baby? Our top tip man Raiph returns! The electric and plumbing first fix gets done. We get stuck into the insulation, membrane and swimming hat protector layer before our final push next week when the cladding gets done.

Thank you so much! Crikey, every day there's a new challenge and often feels like it's one step forward and 2 steps back. Not looking too far into the future helps not to feel so overwhelmed with everything! Baby steps..

Really enjoy your videos and very excited to see the finished product! I'd love to see videos in future about a) all the various costs involved in the project and how you've financed it, b) how you manage life with a baby/ young child in a relatively small space and c) how you adapt to a more rural lifestyle. Hey Eleanor! YES, absolutely. We will definitely be sharing about costs once the project is complete, as we had NO IDEA about all of the various costs involved before we started this journey and it definitely would have been helpful to have had some advice on all of the things that we just didn't even consider before starting on this project. I'd say it'll likely end up costing up about 50% more than we had initially thought, but will go into detail in a future video. And yes, also very excited to start living in the cabins soon (hopefully late Summer!) and be able to answer your b & c. Thank you for watching our videos! We really appreciate it and love making them!
