We are Amy & Pasco. Last year, we left London to rewild to the English countryside. Now, we are building two tiny home cabins, using a flat-pack build kit that we have designed with Ubuild. We are also looking for land to place them on, all whilst expecting our first baby... It's a lot! Tiny house revolution is insane. Ud think tiny homes are to help with minimalist lifestyle but no. Tiny home costing just as much as studio apt in nyc thats crazy
In general property/land in The US is cheaper than here in The UK, You can barely buy viable land here in The UK for 120k. Just shows how much of a housing crisis we are in here. Unfortunately, this is the affordable option for us compared to a high interest mortgage/sky high rent. Lower outgoings on things like mortgage/rent repayments mean that we are able to live more minimally, work less, and be more present with our daughter :)
We will spread the word! I'm so sad that the planning laws favour Airbnb over a wonderful family who want to return to the land. Thank you for bringing us on this journey and sharing your energy. Adventures are risky and you got unlucky. But keep dreaming and adventuring!! Your open minds and spirits are what the world needs. Hugs x

what a beautiful birthing lady you are Amy! Done a wonderful job! Sure your body anatomy is just right for this baby to be born but most of all - your attitude to it is fantastic! You were WILLING to go through this and carried on despite it being a huge challenge. Relaxed until the end despite being overdue and the things not going to plan with your tiny house. You are a very strong superwoman girl - nothing can come your way anymore that you won´t be able to get done with. Nobody will ever take this amazing experience away from you. Bath in joy and pride! @@we_rewild don´t forget, especially Amy - whatever might also be important these days and weeks - its your first postnatal time and it needs to be a time of relaxation and bonding. You will never have another chance to explore your little one so fresh and new. Cuddle up in bed, let people serve you whatever you need and (from my own experience) switch off the smart phone as much as you can. Babies grow a lot these first weeks and the newborn phase is over far too soon. Now - ENJOY Looks very much like a homebirth! WELL DONE YOU - that is by far the best start for you baby

Hey Eleanor! YES, absolutely. We will definitely be sharing about costs once the project is complete, as we had NO IDEA about all of the various costs involved before we started this journey and it definitely would have been helpful to have had some advice on all of the things that we just didn't even consider before starting on this project. I'd say it'll likely end up costing up about 50% more than we had initially thought, but will go into detail in a future video. And yes, also very excited to start living in the cabins soon (hopefully late Summer!) and be able to answer your b & c. Thank you for watching our videos! We really appreciate it and love making them!
