- On this episode of Wooden Railway Layouts, I will show you how to build the Figure 8 Set from the Thomas Wooden Railway. Then, I will gradually add pieces to build every single figure 8 set in the classic Thomas Wooden Railway. I will also expand the figure 8 set with various expansion packs. Finally, I will analyze and review each layout to see what each has to offer and whether or not they are worth building in the first place. Plus, there's a special announcement about the return of Wooden Railway Reviews here on Channel 38! Let’s get started!

YES I have been waiting for a new video I LOVE these reviews! Keep up the brilliant work man! Also when I first clicked on this video I first thought you were only going to take a look at one figure 8 set lol.
The 80s public broadcast theming of your videos is genuinely so good, it definitely makes you stand out from other channels and I think that if you keep uploading, you will for shore get more popular.
So im watching this new youtuber, WQJP Television, and about halfway through video, it hits me. they have not once mentioned how "the flow" of this set is ? (jkjk im so glad they posted)
an announcement of new reviews only to never be seen again
I didn't do the 2000s and finally you can connect it. I wish you can click or does that.
I enjoyed the video 😁👍
I got the 2000 version of the stop and go figure 8 set for like 70 dollars on ebay a few years ago
eh probably wasn't worth it but still cool to have
Also "the figure 8 set is a set" is a truly outstanding quote
Awesome! your videos should get more attention. Theyre so entertaining.
That was an interesting video. I have the Stop and Go Figure 8 set.

Are you going to do more of these videos?
I have the original figure 8 set… although all of the buildings we’re missing
50-piece set from 1994 is the top tier TWR figure 8 set to me, with the plethora of figures, trees, signs and buildings included which makes all the difference.
There’s a slight hilarity to the host declaring how boring he finds the set to be when these are meant to be for incredibly young children as their first wooden train set. But excellent editing, and I liked the tim and eric clip
Yeah... The irony is not lost on me lol; I do concede that I, in my late 20s, am not at all in the target demographic for the figure 8 set whatsoever and, to be fair, the boredom was probably exaggerated by the number of figure 8 sets I filmed at one time haha
Still, given the set popularity, I couldn't not cover it in an episode, especially since this is the 8th episode which I found most fitting. Glad you enjoyed it!
Also, the Poop Tube is definitely my favorite sketch of Tim and Eric; it's just completely absurd!
y'know i'm really not sure what you want out of these. it's a figure 8. who would've imagined adding one or two expansion packs isn't going to be as impressive as a deluxe display set that costs an arm and a leg? seriously, what do you want?
But I like the Gold Mine Mountain set... :(
