University of York Fairfax Hall Accommodation Tour
When I was looking at accommodation choices at the University of York I could not find a detailed video of Fairfax House so I made one in Dec 2020 after a term living there.
Fairfax House is one of the economical choices at University of York so what do you get in the budget option.
Includes Room Tour, Common areas and typical kitchen. Once you are allocated a room number check out where it is, nearest bathroom and toilet (Fairfax is all shared no en-suite) and how near your allocated kitchen is.

Yeah guys I’ve been here… it’s not the best but it’s typical student roughing it lol! So many people got sick like all the time and I’m pretty sure it’s bc there was mildew in the bathroom due to poor ventilation or something. I was in room 204 ahaha.

I’m so nervous now. I’m a hypochondriac and a germaphobe…. This place looks so untidy plus they didn’t give me a room w an en-suite and I’m kind of freaking out about all the sharing 😭😭 I arrive September

@@littel-nq3no I'm pretty sure the room on the website is from a different college. They only have photo of one of the kitchens in Fairfax.

I was in Room 204 y’all… it’s quite dingy in Fairfax. Typical old building. One of my mates told me it’s apparently getting closed for being unfit for purpose, but I don’t know how true that is…
