I will give only one very big con for living in Fairfax, Va. Don't get me wrong, I hate the traffic. But the biggest con for me is the lack of police support you get. If you are stranded on the side of a road with a flat tire or out of gas. Don't expect the police to stop and offer to help. They will just drive right on by. Not even stop or slow down. I use to live in downtown Fairfax for a few months. But never will live in Fairfax Co. ever again. Sorry. Don't get me wrong. I use to live in Prince William Co., and the police would pull over to help anytime. But otherwise I do love the history in Virginia. And Fairfax has a lot of history too.
