- THE HUXWRX BLASTPHEMY is a multi-caliber blast deflector that is constructed with 17-4 stainless steel and is compatible with all HUXWRX HX-QD Muzzle Brakes and Flash Hiders (up to .338). It was designed to redirect the blast forward protecting the shooter and bystanders from micro-concussions and overpressure. Additionally, it doubles as a thread protector for your muzzle device. It is ideal for shooting against cover and/or in the prone position. Similar to HUXWRX muzzle devices, the Blastphemy is heat treaded with PVD and coated with a C-series Cerakote for greater durability and corrosion resistance. Currently Available in Black, FDE, and ALL NEW ODG.
*This product is NOT compatible with the Bannar or Comp-STS muzzle devices.

Companies should make these things like an inch longer just for aesthetic purposes mainly for people in ban states or people waiting for their can. I don't know why they aren't offered in a few varieties of lengths. It would be cool if there was one of these that was about the size of a 5.56 K can.

That's basically what's called a bloop barrel. Yes if it's pin welded no baffles it's legal. Even in commifornia
That's cool. I've always wondered why flow through suppressors are even taxed to begin with. Scaled back it would basically be a cool linear compensator with blast diffusers instead of baffles
If you are going to say that you should say why are any silencers are taxed. and it is because they are scary to certain people and were used by people to do things that were already illegal. Unfortunately scared people took rights from people who didn't do wrong because people who did break the law. And they are all silencers I have an OSS, Dead Air, Rugged, Griffin, and Q no matter the designs they are still all suppressors, and on a meter, there is such little difference from the front, but they have less port levels. Just like a muffler is a muffler is a muffler is a silencer. All mufflers are silencers don't put on your vehicle and you get fined, do it enough get fined and possibly jailed. Put on a firearm and you get insta fined and insta jailed unless you paid the permission/extortion tax ahead of time!
Suppressors are taxed because the government is trying to make them too expensive for everyone to own. It’s also to keep them from becoming general use. But they were put in tax jail because idiot lawmakers thought they make gunshots completely undetectable, which they do not, I’d argue most suppressors still do not fall into hearing safe.

I am about to unveil a truck gun build and purchased this as a way to ensure if you have to use a gun from inside the gun it will keep the blast going towards the target and not filling the cab.
I don't get why companies can't just make this 2" longer and then still just call it a blast deflector or "extended flash hider" bc that's literally what it is, and for the fact of the matter, that's all that suppressors primarily are... Flash hiders.
There's other companies that make them 6" over all length

If you're using a suppressor mostly for flash, you're not utilizing it to its full potential.
In CA you want to avoid the words flash in product information if trying to stay within thr law in various configurations. We have to jump through some hoops here.
@@CalzaTheFoxa suppressor reduces flash more than a birdcage and to your point it does also obscure the sound signature as well.

Does this hook up to a keymo comps or is there an adapter to make it work in Keymo, i literally already have like 15 of these comps and flash hiders for my Deadair sandman s so to have to remove them after timing all of them to use another option kinda stink would be cool to have something to swap over to though if it will take the same connection.

It classifies as a "blast forwarding device". No stamp needed. It simply directs the sound forward, away from the shooter. Downrange, it's not really any quieter. Its basically just a hollow tube, nothing more.
Honestly if it kills flash reliably its good enough. Suppresors are cool, but they arent that darn quiet.
Flash is a bigger problem then report.
Just use a birdcage dude. You don't need a flash can like this. All they do is increase recoil. They're a joke.

I really appriciate that you did not milk this for watch minutes! Though I am left wondering why this isnt legally classified as a supressor and what would be the way to explain that to LEO if asked at the range/in person
First, I'd tell the LEO to go pound sound unless he wants to get sued for a million dollars. Second, it's actually not that quiet. It simple directs the sound forward. If you stand downrange of the gun, it won't really sound any quieter.

Does not increase recoil, and is full auto rated.
It increases recoil relative to shooting the gun with say...a muzzle brake. It basically makes it equivalent to no muzzle device with regards.

yes, as it is not a flash hider, however, you can use flash hiders in CA on mag locked and RAW weapons. If you have a huxwrx brake you could use this over the brake on a featureless build

No recoil reduction that i can see.
It actually adds to recoil... It's not a brake. When all your blast goes forward, the recoil is all backwards. Brakes work by diverting blast up and sideways to reduce recoil and backwards energy.
This is mainly for thread protection and not concussing the people next to you. That's it.
