I’m not a farmer myself, but over the years I got to know one or two. Let me tell you this; these lads are savvy business men, they manage production, distribution and the commercial side of things. We need to respect farmers, pay them a fair price and appreciate what they contribute to society. ✌️

It’s because the Grand Tour has to appeal to international audiences (e.g. America) so the spark which made old Top Gear so good was lost in over exaggerated shite. This series seems to go back to basics and it’s class 👌
Top Gear was also staged, but it wasn't so obvious. Ok sometimes James May really didn't die but they went too far with that in the Grand Tour. Sometimes it almost felt like they didn't really do anything and just went from scene to scene.
Think they started off that way with the Lamborghini tractor. But soon realised the challenge itself was big enough and just let nature take it's course. They obviously still try to over do things, but is so much more natural.
They couldn't have found a better bloke than kaleb to work with Jeremy. He literally doesn't give a shot about who Jeremy is to anyone else he just wants the farming done. Brilliant. Kaleb is a naturally funny bloke and I personal am gutted I've watched the whole series I can't wait for series 2

I like how Clarkson doesn't laugh and explains who Moses is. The lack of reading skit became serious and he probably knew laughing would become bullish.
I am not going to lie, this is one of the most humbling hilarious comedy drama duos of modern English television. Beautifully captured and painfully honest. Recipe for success, congratulations Clarkson and Co.
Every time I watch Kaleb, a sensible and grounded farmer, and Gerald, the man who speaks in mysteries, I feel well entertained. I like people who know what they are doin' and these two are just so much themselves. They are hilarious! Then this urban half wit turns up and I wonder whether that elderly man has paid for being on screen? 😀
But I gave up watching the Grand Tour as it's repetitive crap (my opinion that will not resonate with many others I know). I don't know WHY I watched this - BUT it's absolute TV GOLD. Do this and ignore Hammond and May. Kaleb is funnier than May. And Gerald makes more sense than Hammond.
The last two clips always hit different to me. The “Do that.” never feels like a joke. I really don’t think Kaleb minds any of the trouble he gets put through, but he knows rural life’s difficulties. I can’t speak to his exact intentions, but I’d imagine he just wants to those who don’t quite know from the soul crushing reality of being a farmer.
The series was far better than I expected. Kaleb really was a highlight of the show. He and Clarkson had an excellent dynamic. It was truly a lot of fun.

Every time I watch Kaleb, a sensible and grounded farmer, and Gerald, the man who speaks in mysteries, I feel well entertained. I like people who know what they are doin' and these two are just so much themselves. They are hilarious! Then this urban half wit turns up and I wonder whether that elderly man has paid for being on screen? 😀

But I gave up watching the Grand Tour as it's repetitive crap (my opinion that will not resonate with many others I know). I don't know WHY I watched this - BUT it's absolute TV GOLD. Do this and ignore Hammond and May. Kaleb is funnier than May. And Gerald makes more sense than Hammond.

The last two clips always hit different to me. The “Do that.” never feels like a joke. I really don’t think Kaleb minds any of the trouble he gets put through, but he knows rural life’s difficulties. I can’t speak to his exact intentions, but I’d imagine he just wants to those who don’t quite know from the soul crushing reality of being a farmer.
The series was far better than I expected. Kaleb really was a highlight of the show. He and Clarkson had an excellent dynamic. It was truly a lot of fun.
