Another tidbit. The glitch for rare candies also works for farming Bottle Caps at Game Corner in Celadon City. If you don't know, Bottle Caps can be traded to an old man inside the daycare at Route 5. Bottle cap = 1 perfect IV. Gold Bottle Cap = 6 (all) perfect IV.
It can also be used to get the fossil that spawns daily in cerulean cave to respawn also I know this becuase of johnstones shiny professor oak challenge in lets go
Pretty sure they were all designed to respawn on a daily basis. You can potentially get more Master Ball in Cerulean Cave that way, but the items there are random, so you can probably just restart for the 1% chance of a Master Ball...

Oh wow this game's kind of an oldie now compared to the newer titles huh. I really liked the affirmation that the rare candy glitch won't mess up the save file seeing as that's something most people wouldn't mention, so definitely appreciated.

This game was such a blast from the past. Because if you played Red, blue or yellow on the game boy colour, this is just a remake / revamp!
The Nostalgia levels whilst playing let’s Go, Hit like no other Pokémon game to come out (in relatively recent times).
The Go catch system is a tad different to wearing down wild Pokémon by battling, but in the long run. It’s way more efficient! 😊🫶

I think the rare candy one isn't a glitch, invisible items respawn in the mewtwo cave too
You can also use the infinite rare candy glitch as an Infinite money glitch. Evrey rare candy goes for 5000. Not that bad.

The “you used a full restore” happened to me recently and I was so confused lmao
The "You used an item thing" seems like such a small code oversight I was surprised it wasn't patched out overnight. They probably just forgot to set a variable for the opposing trainers name.
A lot of people don’t like these games because they’re kind of easy, but I think having a Pokémon game that beginners can easily pick up is a good thing, and it’s not like it’s unplayable for a longtime fan such as myself (well, okay, hitting the scene Gen 6 may not qualify as a longtime fan, but you get my point). I still put a lot of time into this game

@@Foefii you can play Pokémon however you want, if you dont like it being easy then make challenges for yourself. even just not abusing shift style can make it harder. nuzlockes are pretty popular right now, why not do that? Because the games are easy, anyone can play, and they can play however they want.
I know that several items have a chance to respawn after a day change, so I'm unsure if the rare candies are truly a glitch because it may be intended. The two I know of for sure are the randomized fossils in the end-game cave (I forgot it's name) and a moonstone in Mt. Moon.

I remember noticing the you used an item glitch in the champion fight and I was like "NO I DIDN'T!"
The infinite rare candy glitch is just like the infinite watt glitch in Pokémon sword and shield!
For the infinite rare candy glitch cant you just do the same basic thing but go forward and back one day if it spawns each day without having to remember dates
That bug with the "You" used item is very weird, indeed...

I thought I was just crazy or something. 🤣 I knew I kept seeing it say, “You” in battle when clearly I wasn’t the one that used a battle item.
6/25/24 Can confirm that candy glitch still works
I noticed while doing the rare candy glitch. Eevees tail will sometimes start wagging, really really fast for no reason.
That indicates a hidden item in the direction you're looking at. It's an intended feature to help find invisible treasures.
Even after the rare candy go underground tunnel and find all the hidden items down there if you want money
I know of one Pokémon that works really well with the cave lighting glitch and it’s melmetal as it shifts to a gold colour

For the 1:57 infinite rare candy glitch you have to go to that route and do The Local communication trade and then Change date then go to the online trade and change the date again for it to work.
People doing the infinite rare Candy glitch if you take your time the chances Will go from 75 to 100
As someone that has a drifted left controller, lets go is insanely hard. I got to Lavender town in around 7 hours. I did try and grind for squirtle, charmander and bulbasaur. (For old time sakes.) That kinda took like 1 or 2 hours total. So it took me around 5 to 6 hours of actual story.
Lets go eevee was my first kanto game so i think i battled two gyms before i realized i didnt battle erika lmao 😭
Tbh the sound track of this game is the best of all Pokemon games in my opinion 😅😊

I've literally always fought Sabrina first ever since the R/B/Y days LOL, I didn't know that you were supposed to go Koga first until much later lol. So I feel you. Either way it didn't affect things much for me.

Did you try the rare candy cheat with the tunnel with the red and blue strips, it has a lot of golden nuggets and potions I found it refreshes every day

The rare candy isnt a glitch its a reoccurring hidden item like the hidden ones on cycling Road or underground passes. Eevee/pikachu tail will shake telling you an item is hidden somewhere
The infinite rare candies thing is because hidden items are set to a time replenish cycle after a certain amount of time has passed items will be restocked in the world
To get the rare candy to spawn almost every time walk like 2 steps away from where you picked it up and then do the glitch this
The full restore glitch happens during my playthrough so often, especially in the rival battles. 😂

For the rare candy glitch, you know how it skips time? Well, you can do this in front of the slowpoke lady in Pewter City and get infinite Big Pearls.

I say the infinite rare candy glitch is really good but it’s very time consuming
Rare Candy glitch is useless just Catch Combo for lvls it's way easier and you can get shinies like that.
You can do this with the guy that gives you Poké Balls as well for money. Just use one or rid of one and he'll give you 10 more and have a total of 19. Not as time consuming, but you don't have to worry about all of that extra stuff dealing with online.
Woah the Hidden Items that respawn daily are a glitch? Who knew that intentional and well documented game features are glitches…

For the candy glitch you have to increase the month by +1 and the day by +1 to be successful everytime

The glitch I want to know is, how do some ppl permanently mega their Pokémon and then take them online. Fought more than a few ppl with full mega teams and then, they could even mega into x or y on top of it, aka mewtwo x could mega into y because it was just a mewtwo according to the game.
Also chancy hunting is 90k exp... sooo it’s faster than rare candy.
think that mega thing is a bit of a hacking angle

I feel like the rare candy trick isn't even worth doing because you can level up so quickly in this game
There's also a trick for money. You can get the guy that gives you Poké Balls. You can use one and get 10 more.
Example: Get 10, use one and get 10 more to where you now have 19.
Is the Rare Candy "glitch" really a glitch though? It's more abusing of the game mechanic, where hidden items will respawn daily and you just time travel to the next day.
For people reading this, yes, it works with all hidden items. Bottle caps, fossils, and whatever else you find as a hidden items.

it’s not patched. The game hasn’t been updated since this video came out (version 1.0.2) so it still works. Might just have to mess around with the date changing a little more

Yeah no, the rare candies aren’t a glitch, a majority of invisible items exist, those are also intentional, and they reset daily, they’re the main reason why getting multiple master balls is possible, still a good video though
