Petrol version has a similar amount of torque, which can probably be tuned up to surpass that of the diesel version, what you do miss out on is 4x4.

@@UhOhUmm I do not disagree dear friend. The TSI RS is just as well built
But the difference is that the diesel engine will always run with a lower tachometer to give this torque, especially in the city but also on enjoyable mountain routes, but also in case of fast driving on the highway. In the diesel engine, everything is done intensely, but with a more relaxed operation and this is the most basic criterion for those who are "fascinated" by the diesel, in general 🙂

@@bivalveeternity4227 thats not true anymore though. With modern turbo petrol engines, they have the torque as low, and often lower than the diesel. They also have more refined low rpm running, thus being even more relaxed to drive than the diesel.
