Hey Phillip, I do enjoy your videos. I have a question. Would there be any advantage to have active pickups in your guitar rather than passive? Would it be just as well to throw money into pedals?, or, just turn the amp up and start playing and not care how it sounds? On a set income with not much to spare, what would you suggest to kind of improve things?
You sure got some wild and cool sounds out of those pedals.

I enjoy your videos, man! Nothin' like an honest, down to earth, unpretentious guy that knows his stuff. It's always very interesting. And I'll say it, I also appreciate that you don't feel the need to curse or toss out crude humor left and right. It's always a nice bonus when there's someone that my kids can watch also! TC stuff is great, I have a few of their pedals, but that Quintessence would be nice. Regardless of who gets it, everything I said still applies. Thanks for what ya do!

I loved using the pull-up trick on my strat - until I realised that the bridge was pulling out of the body every time I did it. Now it just lies flat on the body.

Hi Phillip, could you do an episode about multi-effects pedals please? I have a Boss me-70 and i am curious about how they are made. Are they the same as Boss pedals? Eg is the chorus effect on the me-70 or me-80 the exact same electronics found in one of the Boss chorus pedals or is the sound achieved differently? Many thanks. Love the work you do. Cheers. I actually loved the whammy ( especially the whammy 4) for the bad bypass, when you play it with a clean amp it creates this reverb kind of sound to it and to me that is something when ran I to an super overdrive pedal creates this large sound through a cranked slightly gain amp.
What kind of power supply should i buy for the dark matter pedal? I am pretty new to this and i don’t understand
