    About us:
    “Birth”
    Music Bliss came about in June of 2009, residing in a humble shop lot catering to music lessons and sales of instruments. As humble as it was, Music Bliss quickly grew to expand its range of products at a point in time where boutique products such as guitar effects pedals were on the rise.
    “Bliss”
    As the name implies, Music Bliss truly aims to consistently provide excitement with our choice of products. It didn’t take long for people and musicians to notice that, and thanks to the age of the Internet people began frequenting both our site and our physical store at a quick pace.
    “Insistence”
    We’re people pleasers, we don’t settle for less and we don’t do this just because “It’s Our Job”. Music Bliss has always insisted to recommend and obtain products that the people want. That is exactly how the store grew; from obtaining rare and boutique effects pedals for musicians to catering to pro audio systems for international schools and event companies.
    “Rise”
    Fast forward to 2019, Music Bliss has expanded to a Mega Showroom (Located in Petaling Utama, amidst of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, nearby Sunway and easily accessible through Old Klang Road as well as Puchong) with 3 separate floors for every product category. Its great to hear distortion pedal reviews with actual rhythmic riffs rather than just ac dc soloing and chording.

    Ever since I began hunting for pedals for my first pedalboard build, you’ve become my favourite channel to watch. Truly well done reviews and demos to feed my GAS and answer the many questions I have especially with your comparison vids. Thank you! looking forward to more videos. Cheers from Singapore!

    Doesn't really do the Heavy Metal thing, but more of a high gain rock distortion. And it does this very well. Love it.

    I'm glad to see this played as the rhythm guitar beast it is. I use mine boosted with an ehx crayon and those two pedals combined will give you any sounds from pop punk to just shy of sludge. This pedals flexabilty has elected my boss metal zone to just sit on a shelf. You nailed the demo.

    • @banyarling
      @banyarling Před 2 lety

      Respectfully disagree, the Metal Zone kills this pedal both with gain and eq tweakability.

    Great riffing! Nice to hear a video where you can hear the guitar and pedal, not just an endless ego-stroking solo. You made me a believer in this pedal.

    Can't wait for it to arrive. Since I like my neighbours and don't feel like getting kicked out of the house by my family I can't get a big amp with an fx loop. Gonna treat this the the dirty channel because I so like single channel amps but having a marshall at home isn't probably the best idea.

  • @GuitarHouseLima
    @GuitarHouseLima Před 3 lety +20

    This pedal loves being boosted by a TS or klon type pedal before.

    • @MrGroovergeorge
      @MrGroovergeorge Před 2 lety +2

      Totally agree with that. It loves a bit of a midrange bump. It's a "Marshall In A Box" type pedal. It does the plexi thing. Anyone who says it's bright and sizzly hasn't had any experience with a late 60's early 70's Marshall.

  • @SaggyGerbils

    The vintage tones sound surprisingly bright, sounds more like modern brit and modern US.

    Some criticism of the Dark matter on here but for the price range the build quality and sound of TC pedals they are without a doubt the best low cost pedals you can buy.

  • @edwardbelcher8612
    @edwardbelcher8612 Před 3 lety +2

    I have one of these and I think (for the price) it does a decent job of giving you the classic 70's Marshall sound if you tweak it right. Not as good as an EH Oceans 11 but, again for the cost, it's decent. Not my first choice for getting modern metal tones though as I think it muddies up and looses clarity if it's pushed too far. Kind of a one trick pony but I would buy another one if something happened to it.

    I use mine in front an already overdriven amp like a tube screamer and its AWSOME.
    VOLUME 10 /GAIN 0 /TREB 3 /BASS 5. Depending on your amp settings of course.

    Oh guys, still I need to evaluated it. I’ve got it as a second hand (or foot indead) pedal and it’s fine enought.

  • @JonnyNonsenseUK
    @JonnyNonsenseUK Před měsícem

    I got a dark matter for free. It’s a nice general distortion pedal (well, it’s more of a strong overdrive really). It doesn’t do any particular sound really well, but it’s a good all-rounder. But who cares? I don’t use pedals because I love the sound, I use them because they are practical. I’ve used a million distortion pedals and none come close to a real valve amp. Actually the only pedals that I’ve tried that can keep up with real amps are the blackstar pedals that have valves in them.

  • @danielbentley7117
    @danielbentley7117 Před 7 měsíci

    As a standalone distortion pedal into the clean channel, I really don't like it, it's just doesn't have the bite or balls. But using it like an overdrive/boost into an edge of breakup dirty amp channel, it sounds great.

      @@defectivemonk3884 I read how the Lithiums could be shrill, and I recalled testing my friend's Vader and it was bright and crisp. So I spec'd the guitar out to kind of counter the highs of the pickup; Mahogany body, no gloss, no SS frets and finally having the pickups covered.
      Also check out our second channel where I compare my Zeus against my Salen:

      @@MusicBlissMalaysiaTV quite brilliant. It sounds great. I have a swamp ash with the LIthiums. Maybe the body wood could have done the trick.
