An evil digi-destined team is something long overdue in the franchise in general. We've had a few tastes of it: Ken (his partner status severely downplayed when evil), the evil Legendary Warriors (if only they were humans using souls too), and Xros Wars, but none of them have gone full bore into the concept.
They had the group in xros wars young hunters that weren't evil but were constant antagonists up until the end where well... go watch it. The show is mediocre but does have barely enough good parts to keep you going but trust me when i say that the ending trumps any other moment in any digimon media when it comes to action and hype. If you are as big a fan of digimon media as me you may actually catch yourself reflexively doing consoomer seal claps when the hype starts. Its a shame the rest of the series was basically adventure 02 except it has dollar store daisuke and veemon and its a sequel to xros wars not adventure. It was mid from being overly episodic like ghost game but worse becauss its short for a digimon anime. It does have its moments though but can be frustrating when a 25ish episode series has so much filler and the protagonist is offbrand daisuke but worse.

There have been plenty of successful Monster of the Week shows (Buffy and Supernatural as just two examples). If you don't like it, don't watch, but enough with the whining.

Part of me after seeing GulusGammamon last week had me imagine there could be a tamer that could Mega Evolve their Digimon to give Gulus a run for their money, perhaps even as far as Dark Biomerging to fight fire with fire with their own set of motivations. As much as thats never going to happen, it would be really cool if somebody stepped up and challenged Gammamon Directly.
Kayano really was such a great design. It would be great if Kayano and Yuto got partners and returned somehow. One with a toy themed digimon line and the other with a plant themed.
With this line of thinking I can see alot of parallels between each pair of Tamers like Hiro and science girl. Might make a thing in comment once im off work and fully get thought together tho
Hm, for me Hiro and Yuto makes the most sense because they already know each other. Kiyo and Science girl would make sense because they're both scientists and then Ruli and Kayano had some beef in their episode.
@@mysticdigital5936 I was thinking yuto and Kiyo cause of how kiyo and jellymon act and with dark influence wonder "why couldn't me and Ajatarmon have that kinda bond" and Hiro and science girl cause both partner would have different experience with love one for brotherly and caring while the other more abusive and only rewarded when they give good results plus her and hiro father have a background in science and if anything she tell a story of benign hiro father in the past and vaguely follow in his footsteps which is how she got a lead on Morphomon
I would have brought in the bird guy as a cameo at the very least. I know this was meant to have the dark digidestined be kids but given that the rules of humans and digimon parterning with each other has no age restriction, like Digimon Savers did, I feel that Myotismon would easily target someone like him if not have him being the only unreformed person in his group. Also, I think we could end this what if with them meeting all the kids from the Petermon episode who have digimon since we can assume they're all still together with them.
Honestly, I don't know about the kid that looks like Ken being in this group, but I could see the bird guy trying(You know, the one in the episode of a bunch of birds).
I had considered the older bird guy (hence why there are shots of him in this video) but I felt it was weird to have someone twice their age in the team, and also as I said in the video, I like the idea of a kid who is clearly just good but on the wrong path

I honestly wish that at the end of yuto's episode he would've found ajatarmon's egg and hatches a yuramon. And I personally like to think that kaiono is being watched over by Monzaemon, I think that would be cool but who knows if toei will commit to a story
I’ve so wanted this to happen so many times. I thought Ghost Game might’ve been it at first before it became clearly episodic. There are so many good counterpart rookies to the OG adventure digidestined that could be used for an evil team.
It might be interesting if the scientist girl, after seeing the other two new digivolutions, tries to funnel all of her hopes and twisted desires onto morphmon with a dark digivice or one of Hiro's dads prototype digivices and we get a Dark digivolution of Morphmon (IDK what digimon that would be, maybe a Warp digivolution to TyrantKabuterimon). Even with all the new digivolutions they see that they are still outmatched and Hiro decides to call upon Gulusgammamon. Now that Hiro and Gammamon both synced up to digivolve into Gulusgammamon he reveals that to achieve Gammamons Mega evolution that Hiro needed to learn to either accept or realize that even if Gulusgammamon is a dark digivolution, its still Gammamon. Then we finally get Gammamons mega form with the power of all 4 champions now syched together. They defeat the scientist and the other dark digimon which after the battle and seeing Gammamons mega form she realizes that Digimon are living beings and vows to find a way to protect the digital world. Morphmon wouldnt go with her but would encourage her to find others in the human world with her sense of discovery. At least thats my theory on how this might play out and maybe we get hints of the other partners megas and of course in the end we would leave with a shot of a dark version of a partner digimon, maybe Dark Imperialdramon as a digimon with equal power to the new mega on the team.

I kind of expected that this is where they were going way back with Dracmon. He mentioned planning to find a human partner back in episode 3, so when he returned, I initially thought that the shady CEO guy really was a human. I was actually disappointed when he turned out to be Myotismon.

The best thing about good stories with mediocre execution is the fan fiction they inspire. Fandoms are full of creative minds with the right amount of hubris to try making something better.
I'd have liked to see digimon seek human partners for selfish reasons, particularly Matadormon, Meicoomon, and Bastemon for power, love and greed respectively. The latter two can be reformed, but Matadormon stands his ground until the end. We also got plenty of unresolved conflicts with Lilithmon, Splashmon (who's still alive), the GRB threat, and more. So many opportunities for a sequel series.
I thought I was the only one… I wanna see an evil digidestined team and fighting the main characters in one of the digimon series. It gave me that idea from Kayano (Aoi’s friend?).
I can see both Piedmon and Myotismon return with Ruli in the center of this. Myotismon is wanting her to let him obtain Ruli's digivice to grow stronger . He eventually hypnotize Ruli and gets an immense power up from synching. Piedmon shows up and has issues with Myotismon, trying to help save Ruli due to his respect for her. The synced Myotismon has proven to be a challenge for Piedmon, and as they clash, their shared thoughts about Ruli triggers them to DNA Digivolve into Boltboutamon. He would have an obsession with protecting Ruli and keep her to himself. Boltboutamon would have different, conflicting thoughts, which are of Piedmon and Myotismon, eventually making him go insane. Piedmon would briefly take control and warns Ruli about the power Boltboutamon has, trying his best to suppress it while fighting Myotismon . I can see this happening as likely a major milestone for the first Mega debut. The end Result is Boltboutamon dying, but with Piedmon saying his final words before passing.
This is a good start of a concept. Might need a few brand new Dark Destined to fill out some numbers. Also no discussion of "Healthy Digimon Relationships" would be complete without exploring whatever is going on with Kiyoshiro & Jellymon. Hell, perhaps the reason Hiro & Ruli catch on to things is because Kiyoshiro gets lured to the Digital World to get more space from Jellymon. What would happen if Gulus fights the DarkDestined? Are they boned or is there a way for them to beat him? Where is Hiro's Dad while all this is going on? What parts of the Digital World get shown? Anywhere noteable, like a Primary Village or Castle RecycleBin?
I have always loved this concept. Heck, it would be so cool if the antagonistic digi-destined used the black variant of Digimon since I think the black variant of Digimon is underused. Maybe they could also show a black variation of Gammamon (not the same as Gulus)?
I have a theory but it has to do with meicrackmon vicious mode as far as I know Ive only seen other meickrackmon vicious mode and its in digimon tri, we have also not seen meicrackmon normal mode so my theory is that maybe meicrackmon from ghost is the reincarnation from tri. My lead is because meicrackmon VM only evolves if her heart has been corrupted and the only thing that can corrupt like that a digimon heart is apocalypsmon, I maybe wrong but its weird seeing poochiemon evolving into meicrackmon since I am pretty sure that she concealed her meicrackmon look by some type of glitch in her code that allows her to de-evolve into other digimon. Also something more odd is that when she evolved it was like she almost knew she was going to become meickrackmon and even had the nickname mei ready at the moment she evolved. The thing is that if I am right and Meicrackmon has that dark part of digiworld inside her, I see a possible good arc in the future. It seems really odd they used meicrackmon literally a digimon that unconciously almost destroyed the digiworld and the human world at the same time appeared one episode and disappeared I think they are going to make mlre development in that part of the series
Another good way to set this up is to have Piedmon be the mastermind pulling the strings. He puts together an evil team of tamers to fight the heroes by manipulating their emotions and either possessing their digimon partners or disguising powerful minions as the digimon they lost. To Piedmon it's a game to see if the heroes are capable of handling another trio with his support. It's also a way to bring the dark master back into the story and could be the catalyst that leads to one of the heroes reaching Mega or GulusGammamon could be forced out to battle Piedmon.
That would be interesting, because the GG version of Piedmon is a good sport when he loses. He'd be the kind to push the kids as hard as he can just to see what they will do to win.
We had this in Digimon V-Tamer 01 and a couple other manga, but for some reason the anime have never done the genuinely evil Digimon Tamer idea. Part of it might be not wanting to compete with Pokemon or Persona, but still, that's something you could do a lot with!
I got this idea, what if an Ebemon a surviving member of the Vademon cult from Adventure 2020 appear in Ghost Game and control humans to partner dark Digimon and later plans to use them as sacrifice’s for the resurrection of Millenniummon.
Having two or more teams of Digimon human partners would make for a good story, Xros Wars was trying to do that, but if they go more on the dark side, similar to the Digimon Emperor but all teams are after something important that could boost their power and conquer zones, building empires within the Digital World, thou there some being that has laid down ground rules for each team to follow regardless of the fact they are good or evil, prehaps have the heroes of the story, start off in a zone that been conquered and see what happened to it and get told by a Digimon that they aid, how it use to be before the dark ones arrived and the zone is ruled over by a chosen lackie, AKA first boss for heroes to defeat and their arrival, causes one of the Dark teams to take notice that a new player has entered the game and go to try and recruit them to their side! The humans who become more akin to the Digimon Emperor, could have tragic reasons for being lured in, like the lost of a loved one, a betrayal that to hard to bare, then, we could have a human who refused redemeption and wants to be bad on purpose and doesn't care about others including their partner, if they got a partner, they could be using a means similar to what we got in Frontier, a form of sprit evolution, they are someone who went off the edge long before coming to the Digital World and the Digital World only made them more insane! I mean, we only had a single major human character who is pure evil or at least mad, without a shred of remorse for the Digimon they hurt, the other characters who been croupted by the dark powers, all got remeption arcs, but a human who beyond saving, that would shake things up, they don't nessary need to die, they could be the main villian for much of the story until they are defeated throughly and in the real world or on the border between worlds! They could be wanted for a bunch of crimes, such as murder or attempted murder, but to prevent them from using their Digivice, its taken away by the heroes or destoryed on purpose as they believe without it, they cannot harm anyone! They (the one beyond saving) get told to think about what they done, so they end up in jail for a time and evenly figure out, how to evolve, without the Digivice as it just a tool to make one aware of their power! Instead of another confronation with the heroes, they get a visit from a groverment agent, who are intersted in their powers and offers them leanancy for their crimes if they cooperate with the groverment and become a tool for a shadow war involving the Digital worlds, who to say there isn't more than one Digital World? The Heroes could save one world but not realise that, there are other worlds out there with different threats and it could be a trigger for another adventure for the heroes and prehaps those seeking to redeem themselves after realising the error of their ways! We have Digimon beyond redemeption, why not a human character who truly beyond redemeption, they could be a complete physcopath and maybe just loves battling without caring about the consquences of their actions and their suroundings!
I would love the series to go to the the digital world and have a serialized story surrounding that, but I get the feeling that won't happen. Still your Dark Digidestined idea sounds interesting and could definitely work for this series. I more or less want a lot of the surviving evil digimon to form a team and fight the Ghost Game cast in the real or digital world, they could have digidestined to bring out their evolutions as well though. As for one thing I'd kind of like to happen, but probably won't because it was implied the digimon disappeared is I want a Meicrackmon Vicious Mode vs Gulusgammamon fight. There's a pretty good reason for this show's Meicoomon to dark digivolve, better than tri's it was just scared reason, and I think Gammamon from the short interaction he had with him would want to try and save him from his rage while trying to deal with controlling his own dark evolution. Probably having part of the resolution to an episode like that be Betsumon apologizing for what he did to Meicoomon, but then again I don't really want to see that particular Digimon too much more in this show. Anyway if anything I kind of want to see higher stakes going forward and less of these "it was all just a misunderstanding" endings this show tends to go with now that we're getting into the latter part of the series. I still feel like this is going to be one of the longest Digimon shows with the current stuff feeling more like a midpoint than ramping things up for the end.
As far as the idea of Kyono relapsing goes, it does make sense. Anxiety isn't something you can just 'get over', and neither are intrusive thoughts or depression. It takes time and a strong support group to counter all of those, not just a one-time therapy session. It would be nice to see more shows address that as a whole, and so far, only MLP: FiM has done so in the form of consistent character traits. Ghost Game honestly seems more grounded to a touch of reality (ironic) then most shows I've seen, so it would have been nice for them to use Kyono as a reoccurring character.
While I wouldn't mind a long story of some kind for Ghost Game, I don't think the evil tamer idea works for this season. The main problem is how do these 3 even become Tamers if they don't even have the Vital Bracelet? Without that essential item, it would be odd for them to have the same power as Hiro and the others. Not to mention it be odd for them to go right to mega when the main 3 haven't even hit that level yet and are still battling at ultimate. Yuto and Kyono just don't fit with this. Again, it would be cool if this idea could work, but I don't think GG is the season to do it, and there aren't any options for this season to work. Well, that's just me and my thoughts on the matter.
There’s something to this idea but the scientist woman just felt too underdeveloped to be interesting to me and out of place as the only adult, so maybe just the other two kids. Also I think regular Monzemon for Kaiano would be better than WaruMonzemon since he actually showed some care and sympathy for her instead of just wanting to use her like the other two of that episode.

The problem with the whole dark tamers concept is the first one being there not yet exist some version of the Vital Bracelets created by Hokuto as only three have been created before he accidentally sent himself to the Digital World. His work has been more or less a passion project that no one would have known about. Unless we get some sort of episode where one of the trio winds up losing their Vital Bracelets only for that amateur scientist to pick it up and manages to reverse engineer it. Even then that is on airs since there are a lot of specialties in the science world and her field might not involve reverse engineering unless she knows someone who can do that. Then again, if it's curiosity towards Morphmon, the amateur scientist wouldn't go looking for Morphmon again when she pretty much would encounter other Digimon anyway. She would easily deviate from seeking out Morphmon. Yuto's case while I can get the concept of survivor's guilt, he seems to be working hard to move on from it and he may have learned about the whole digitama thing he would also be told that Ajartamon would not be the Ajartamon he knew. Yuto would probably say something along the lines of "I hope Ajartamon can find her answer for true love" and vows to himself to be better for himself too as he moves on with his life. Kayono on the other hand, she wouldn't be looking for Waru Monzaemon and that dinosaur puppet looking Digimon (what is name again) again and would instead be wanting to find Monzaemon again to thank him for setting her straight. Kayono wouldn't have relapsed since she at least would be mending some fences with some friends of hers that she has pushed away even though she still has some jealousy towards Ruli for her popularity but she would certainly want to meet Monzaemon again even if it's simply returning a kind gesture. Am I thinking too optimistically. The idea of them being Dark Tamers again would not work unless the Vital Bracelet technology could be replicated yet that does not solve the means to enter the Digital World safely unless that amateur scientist continues researching the vital bracelets along with its' connection to Digimon and makes a breakthrough. She definitely wouldn't be a tamer of course but the idea of teens volunteering to test out a new technology that could one day be sold to the market on the other hand is possible. The amateur scientist would be taking the lead when it came to seeing and researching the Digimon she sees. As for your idea of Vandemon and Matadormon coming back to manipulate someone who has encountered Digimon and somewhat have an idea of their existence. That would only work if the three were being watched by them. Matadormon and Vandemon aren't working together anymore either since the former left after the latter vanished. The whole getting into the Digital World without getting burned is something that has yet to have a solution to either so again maybe the amateur scientist brings this up and create some sort of protection? Besides, the idea Dracmon had only lasted for so long before he basically became Vandemon's underling and no longer needed a human since he has already materialized. The other problem to your Bloomlordmon idea, Ajartamon would have came back in its' rookie state and we know how long it took for our team to achieve ultimate evolution who knows how long it takes for them to reach mega evolution with their respective partners. Overall, great concept on paper but putting it into reality and there is a few holes here and there to cover I think. Although the one thing this supposed arc would do is Hiro and Gammamon wouldn't return to the human world too soon since he would wander the Digital World in search of his dad. After that there isn't anything else going on.
I agree with this. Even though a Dark Tamers arc would've been cool, it wouldn't fit in with Ghost Game as is. I feel like Ghost Game would've been rewritten almost entirely to make something like a Dark Tamers arc work, so it doesn't conflict with the overarching mysteries they're slowly building up. Think it'll be better to save the Dark Tamers arc for another Digimon series that focuses more on overarcing plots than episodic stories.
@@DeoxysChao A Dark Tamers CAN still work even if it's an episodic series but just not with these three candidates and certainly not Vandemon and Matadormon teaming up again after the latter ditched the former. It also would not be possible unless the Vital Bracelets technology can be replicated which of course I made a scenario on as unlikely as it would be for anyone of the team to lose their Vital Bracelets long enough for some genius to pick it up to even reverse engineer it. The problem of course is how this what if on the video is not plausible based on the events that has already transpired.
@@VanishEclipse4867 I'm not saying it's impossible with Ghost Game. Even if the concept could theorically work in a episodic series, GG wasn't written with that in mind. I mean, they could've dove more into the dark relationships between Digimon and humans to eventually blossom into forming kind-of Dark Tamer groups (with or without the VBs involved). However, in the end, it's more about the writters showing off horror stories using Digimon as the "Holographic Ghosts" that terrorize mostly innocent humans. I think for something like a Dark Tamers arc to work with GG, the series either needs to be rewritten (keeping certain aspects of Ghost Game but expanding on the idea of Digimon needing humans to materialize by partnering with them) or make a sequel. On a side note, I've thought of the girl in the next episode being a Dark Tamer considering she's fused with a Digimon. Might be a pipe dream, but that might start the Dark Tamers arc people wanted possibly expanding to a possible sequel.

I love the whole thing, except I do not see morphmon willingly staying with her, or at least it shouldn’t. Ken’s wormmon had a reason to stay even when Ken was nasty because he already deeply cared about him. As you said Morphmon was legit just kidnapped

I had considered the older bird guy (hence why there are shots of him in this video) but I felt it was weird to have someone twice their age in the team, and also as I said in the video, I like the idea of a kid who is clearly just good but on the wrong path

I’ve so wanted this to happen so many times. I thought Ghost Game might’ve been it at first before it became clearly episodic. There are so many good counterpart rookies to the OG adventure digidestined that could be used for an evil team.

It might be interesting if the scientist girl, after seeing the other two new digivolutions, tries to funnel all of her hopes and twisted desires onto morphmon with a dark digivice or one of Hiro's dads prototype digivices and we get a Dark digivolution of Morphmon (IDK what digimon that would be, maybe a Warp digivolution to TyrantKabuterimon). Even with all the new digivolutions they see that they are still outmatched and Hiro decides to call upon Gulusgammamon. Now that Hiro and Gammamon both synced up to digivolve into Gulusgammamon he reveals that to achieve Gammamons Mega evolution that Hiro needed to learn to either accept or realize that even if Gulusgammamon is a dark digivolution, its still Gammamon. Then we finally get Gammamons mega form with the power of all 4 champions now syched together. They defeat the scientist and the other dark digimon which after the battle and seeing Gammamons mega form she realizes that Digimon are living beings and vows to find a way to protect the digital world. Morphmon wouldnt go with her but would encourage her to find others in the human world with her sense of discovery. At least thats my theory on how this might play out and maybe we get hints of the other partners megas and of course in the end we would leave with a shot of a dark version of a partner digimon, maybe Dark Imperialdramon as a digimon with equal power to the new mega on the team.

I kind of expected that this is where they were going way back with Dracmon. He mentioned planning to find a human partner back in episode 3, so when he returned, I initially thought that the shady CEO guy really was a human. I was actually disappointed when he turned out to be Myotismon.

The best thing about good stories with mediocre execution is the fan fiction they inspire. Fandoms are full of creative minds with the right amount of hubris to try making something better.

We need a dark reflection of the digi-destined. You show that there are consequences to the actions of the Digi-Destined.
You'll need an adult to be a dark digi destined at least 1. Would break the bridge on why only certain ages can be digi destined in the lore.
I'd have liked to see digimon seek human partners for selfish reasons, particularly Matadormon, Meicoomon, and Bastemon for power, love and greed respectively. The latter two can be reformed, but Matadormon stands his ground until the end.
We also got plenty of unresolved conflicts with Lilithmon, Splashmon (who's still alive), the GRB threat, and more.
So many opportunities for a sequel series.

I thought I was the only one… I wanna see an evil digidestined team and fighting the main characters in one of the digimon series. It gave me that idea from Kayano (Aoi’s friend?).

Great ideas. Ghost Game has introduced some interesting characters and it would be nice for them to have more recurring roles.
Knowing how theres a new monzaemon. I would love if warumonzaemon returns and evolves into the new digimon.
I can see both Piedmon and Myotismon return with Ruli in the center of this. Myotismon is wanting her to let him obtain Ruli's digivice to grow stronger . He eventually hypnotize Ruli and gets an immense power up from synching. Piedmon shows up and has issues with Myotismon, trying to help save Ruli due to his respect for her. The synced Myotismon has proven to be a challenge for Piedmon, and as they clash, their shared thoughts about Ruli triggers them to DNA Digivolve into Boltboutamon. He would have an obsession with protecting Ruli and keep her to himself. Boltboutamon would have different, conflicting thoughts, which are of Piedmon and Myotismon, eventually making him go insane.
Piedmon would briefly take control and warns Ruli about the power Boltboutamon has, trying his best to suppress it while fighting Myotismon .
I can see this happening as likely a major milestone for the first Mega debut. The end Result is Boltboutamon dying, but with Piedmon saying his final words before passing.

Also no discussion of "Healthy Digimon Relationships" would be complete without exploring whatever is going on with Kiyoshiro & Jellymon. Hell, perhaps the reason Hiro & Ruli catch on to things is because Kiyoshiro gets lured to the Digital World to get more space from Jellymon.
What would happen if Gulus fights the DarkDestined? Are they boned or is there a way for them to beat him?

I have always loved this concept. Heck, it would be so cool if the antagonistic digi-destined used the black variant of Digimon since I think the black variant of Digimon is underused. Maybe they could also show a black variation of Gammamon (not the same as Gulus)?
I have a theory but it has to do with meicrackmon vicious mode as far as I know Ive only seen other meickrackmon vicious mode and its in digimon tri, we have also not seen meicrackmon normal mode so my theory is that maybe meicrackmon from ghost is the reincarnation from tri. My lead is because meicrackmon VM only evolves if her heart has been corrupted and the only thing that can corrupt like that a digimon heart is apocalypsmon, I maybe wrong but its weird seeing poochiemon evolving into meicrackmon since I am pretty sure that she concealed her meicrackmon look by some type of glitch in her code that allows her to de-evolve into other digimon. Also something more odd is that when she evolved it was like she almost knew she was going to become meickrackmon and even had the nickname mei ready at the moment she evolved. The thing is that if I am right and Meicrackmon has that dark part of digiworld inside her, I see a possible good arc in the future. It seems really odd they used meicrackmon literally a digimon that unconciously almost destroyed the digiworld and the human world at the same time appeared one episode and disappeared I think they are going to make mlre development in that part of the series
Another good way to set this up is to have Piedmon be the mastermind pulling the strings. He puts together an evil team of tamers to fight the heroes by manipulating their emotions and either possessing their digimon partners or disguising powerful minions as the digimon they lost. To Piedmon it's a game to see if the heroes are capable of handling another trio with his support. It's also a way to bring the dark master back into the story and could be the catalyst that leads to one of the heroes reaching Mega or GulusGammamon could be forced out to battle Piedmon.
That would be interesting, because the GG version of Piedmon is a good sport when he loses. He'd be the kind to push the kids as hard as he can just to see what they will do to win.
We had this in Digimon V-Tamer 01 and a couple other manga, but for some reason the anime have never done the genuinely evil Digimon Tamer idea. Part of it might be not wanting to compete with Pokemon or Persona, but still, that's something you could do a lot with!
I got this idea, what if an Ebemon a surviving member of the Vademon cult from Adventure 2020 appear in Ghost Game and control humans to partner dark Digimon and later plans to use them as sacrifice’s for the resurrection of Millenniummon.

Having two or more teams of Digimon human partners would make for a good story, Xros Wars was trying to do that, but if they go more on the dark side, similar to the Digimon Emperor but all teams are after something important that could boost their power and conquer zones, building empires within the Digital World, thou there some being that has laid down ground rules for each team to follow regardless of the fact they are good or evil, prehaps have the heroes of the story, start off in a zone that been conquered and see what happened to it and get told by a Digimon that they aid, how it use to be before the dark ones arrived and the zone is ruled over by a chosen lackie, AKA first boss for heroes to defeat and their arrival, causes one of the Dark teams to take notice that a new player has entered the game and go to try and recruit them to their side! The humans who become more akin to the Digimon Emperor, could have tragic reasons for being lured in, like the lost of a loved one, a betrayal that to hard to bare, then, we could have a human who refused redemeption and wants to be bad on purpose and doesn't care about others including their partner, if they got a partner, they could be using a means similar to what we got in Frontier, a form of sprit evolution, they are someone who went off the edge long before coming to the Digital World and the Digital World only made them more insane! I mean, we only had a single major human character who is pure evil or at least mad, without a shred of remorse for the Digimon they hurt, the other characters who been croupted by the dark powers, all got remeption arcs, but a human who beyond saving, that would shake things up, they don't nessary need to die, they could be the main villian for much of the story until they are defeated throughly and in the real world or on the border between worlds!
They could be wanted for a bunch of crimes, such as murder or attempted murder, but to prevent them from using their Digivice, its taken away by the heroes or destoryed on purpose as they believe without it, they cannot harm anyone! They (the one beyond saving) get told to think about what they done, so they end up in jail for a time and evenly figure out, how to evolve, without the Digivice as it just a tool to make one aware of their power! Instead of another confronation with the heroes, they get a visit from a groverment agent, who are intersted in their powers and offers them leanancy for their crimes if they cooperate with the groverment and become a tool for a shadow war involving the Digital worlds, who to say there isn't more than one Digital World? The Heroes could save one world but not realise that, there are other worlds out there with different threats and it could be a trigger for another adventure for the heroes and prehaps those seeking to redeem themselves after realising the error of their ways! We have Digimon beyond redemeption, why not a human character who truly beyond redemeption, they could be a complete physcopath and maybe just loves battling without caring about the consquences of their actions and their suroundings!
I would love the series to go to the the digital world and have a serialized story surrounding that, but I get the feeling that won't happen. Still your Dark Digidestined idea sounds interesting and could definitely work for this series. I more or less want a lot of the surviving evil digimon to form a team and fight the Ghost Game cast in the real or digital world, they could have digidestined to bring out their evolutions as well though.
As for one thing I'd kind of like to happen, but probably won't because it was implied the digimon disappeared is I want a Meicrackmon Vicious Mode vs Gulusgammamon fight. There's a pretty good reason for this show's Meicoomon to dark digivolve, better than tri's it was just scared reason, and I think Gammamon from the short interaction he had with him would want to try and save him from his rage while trying to deal with controlling his own dark evolution. Probably having part of the resolution to an episode like that be Betsumon apologizing for what he did to Meicoomon, but then again I don't really want to see that particular Digimon too much more in this show.
Anyway if anything I kind of want to see higher stakes going forward and less of these "it was all just a misunderstanding" endings this show tends to go with now that we're getting into the latter part of the series. I still feel like this is going to be one of the longest Digimon shows with the current stuff feeling more like a midpoint than ramping things up for the end.

As far as the idea of Kyono relapsing goes, it does make sense. Anxiety isn't something you can just 'get over', and neither are intrusive thoughts or depression. It takes time and a strong support group to counter all of those, not just a one-time therapy session. It would be nice to see more shows address that as a whole, and so far, only MLP: FiM has done so in the form of consistent character traits. Ghost Game honestly seems more grounded to a touch of reality (ironic) then most shows I've seen, so it would have been nice for them to use Kyono as a reoccurring character.
While I wouldn't mind a long story of some kind for Ghost Game, I don't think the evil tamer idea works for this season. The main problem is how do these 3 even become Tamers if they don't even have the Vital Bracelet? Without that essential item, it would be odd for them to have the same power as Hiro and the others. Not to mention it be odd for them to go right to mega when the main 3 haven't even hit that level yet and are still battling at ultimate. Yuto and Kyono just don't fit with this.
Again, it would be cool if this idea could work, but I don't think GG is the season to do it, and there aren't any options for this season to work. Well, that's just me and my thoughts on the matter.

There’s something to this idea but the scientist woman just felt too underdeveloped to be interesting to me and out of place as the only adult, so maybe just the other two kids.
Also I think regular Monzemon for Kaiano would be better than WaruMonzemon since he actually showed some care and sympathy for her instead of just wanting to use her like the other two of that episode.
I interpreted her as being in her late teens / early twenties max. Like 3 years older than the others max.

The problem with the whole dark tamers concept is the first one being there not yet exist some version of the Vital Bracelets created by Hokuto as only three have been created before he accidentally sent himself to the Digital World. His work has been more or less a passion project that no one would have known about. Unless we get some sort of episode where one of the trio winds up losing their Vital Bracelets only for that amateur scientist to pick it up and manages to reverse engineer it. Even then that is on airs since there are a lot of specialties in the science world and her field might not involve reverse engineering unless she knows someone who can do that. Then again, if it's curiosity towards Morphmon, the amateur scientist wouldn't go looking for Morphmon again when she pretty much would encounter other Digimon anyway. She would easily deviate from seeking out Morphmon.
Yuto's case while I can get the concept of survivor's guilt, he seems to be working hard to move on from it and he may have learned about the whole digitama thing he would also be told that Ajartamon would not be the Ajartamon he knew. Yuto would probably say something along the lines of "I hope Ajartamon can find her answer for true love" and vows to himself to be better for himself too as he moves on with his life.
Kayono on the other hand, she wouldn't be looking for Waru Monzaemon and that dinosaur puppet looking Digimon (what is name again) again and would instead be wanting to find Monzaemon again to thank him for setting her straight. Kayono wouldn't have relapsed since she at least would be mending some fences with some friends of hers that she has pushed away even though she still has some jealousy towards Ruli for her popularity but she would certainly want to meet Monzaemon again even if it's simply returning a kind gesture.
Am I thinking too optimistically. The idea of them being Dark Tamers again would not work unless the Vital Bracelet technology could be replicated yet that does not solve the means to enter the Digital World safely unless that amateur scientist continues researching the vital bracelets along with its' connection to Digimon and makes a breakthrough. She definitely wouldn't be a tamer of course but the idea of teens volunteering to test out a new technology that could one day be sold to the market on the other hand is possible. The amateur scientist would be taking the lead when it came to seeing and researching the Digimon she sees.
As for your idea of Vandemon and Matadormon coming back to manipulate someone who has encountered Digimon and somewhat have an idea of their existence. That would only work if the three were being watched by them. Matadormon and Vandemon aren't working together anymore either since the former left after the latter vanished. The whole getting into the Digital World without getting burned is something that has yet to have a solution to either so again maybe the amateur scientist brings this up and create some sort of protection? Besides, the idea Dracmon had only lasted for so long before he basically became Vandemon's underling and no longer needed a human since he has already materialized.
The other problem to your Bloomlordmon idea, Ajartamon would have came back in its' rookie state and we know how long it took for our team to achieve ultimate evolution who knows how long it takes for them to reach mega evolution with their respective partners. Overall, great concept on paper but putting it into reality and there is a few holes here and there to cover I think. Although the one thing this supposed arc would do is Hiro and Gammamon wouldn't return to the human world too soon since he would wander the Digital World in search of his dad. After that there isn't anything else going on.
I agree with this. Even though a Dark Tamers arc would've been cool, it wouldn't fit in with Ghost Game as is. I feel like Ghost Game would've been rewritten almost entirely to make something like a Dark Tamers arc work, so it doesn't conflict with the overarching mysteries they're slowly building up. Think it'll be better to save the Dark Tamers arc for another Digimon series that focuses more on overarcing plots than episodic stories.

@@VanishEclipse4867 I'm not saying it's impossible with Ghost Game. Even if the concept could theorically work in a episodic series, GG wasn't written with that in mind. I mean, they could've dove more into the dark relationships between Digimon and humans to eventually blossom into forming kind-of Dark Tamer groups (with or without the VBs involved). However, in the end, it's more about the writters showing off horror stories using Digimon as the "Holographic Ghosts" that terrorize mostly innocent humans. I think for something like a Dark Tamers arc to work with GG, the series either needs to be rewritten (keeping certain aspects of Ghost Game but expanding on the idea of Digimon needing humans to materialize by partnering with them) or make a sequel.
On a side note, I've thought of the girl in the next episode being a Dark Tamer considering she's fused with a Digimon. Might be a pipe dream, but that might start the Dark Tamers arc people wanted possibly expanding to a possible sequel.

I love the whole thing, except I do not see morphmon willingly staying with her, or at least it shouldn’t. Ken’s wormmon had a reason to stay even when Ken was nasty because he already deeply cared about him. As you said Morphmon was legit just kidnapped
