Thos is the FASTEST & EASIEST recipe to make this dish !! No UNNESSASARY yapping !! Just STRAIGHT cooking !! I'm making this as SOON as I finish typing this. THANK YOU !!
Love how u made this video 2.5 minutes instead of 20 minutes
Perfect! This is real goulash-don’t listen to the haters. I add mushrooms and corn. And lots of crushed red pepper flakes!
Just shows how food doesn't need to be expensive if you have some basic skills & a great cook to show her recipes
FINALLY a goulash recipe that uses bay leaves 😊. That’s the secret to grandpa’s best goulash 😍
My daughter made goulash a little while back, and I was expecting your kind of goulash, and she made a goulash with a cream cheese sauce on it and with sausage! Not my cup of tea I think it was pretty good without the sausage. And I think green chili would’ve really made it taste a lot better! Thank you so much for sharing. I appreciate it. I watched you when you were just do an air fryers and stuff like that first. And I enjoyed it very much.
We pour ours in a casserole dish, top w cheddar cheese, and bake just to melt the cheese, maybe 15 min. So good. Family comfort food.
I am not Hungarian, but after watching this I am Hungry! Thank you for saving me and my children today! Using your recipe to feed my single family today!
I’m hungarian. It’s not HUNGARIAN gulash!🥶
I love goulash. I don't add cheese to mine but I do add a bit of sugar and red wine vinegar. Its so good.
I was literally raised on this stuff, we had it at least two or three times a month with garlic bread..😊
Doing this tomorrow Ty!
We just had goulash a couple of days ago, and I’ve been eating it my whole life!😉❤️
Made this today, it was great!
I made this tonight using ground turkey. It came out great! This will be on a regular rotation. TY for sharing!
Luv it . Thanks so much 😊
My dad made goulash when I was a kid. I just that it was a funny name for slop. He would put mini potatoes and even corn in it. It was fire to be honest.
Made it tonight! Yum!
Y'all should try cubed cheese next time!!!! 1/2" or 3/8" cubes. That's how my grandma does it.... I was skeptical at first but it is AMAZING!
Thanks for sharing.
Yum yum yum! Going to make this today.
Made it delicious, thanks for sharing
Yummy! I love watching your videos and your personality.
Made this recipe, very good!
I add canned corn, diced carrots & peas. Comes out great!
Yum Yum! Kind of a chili with pasta instead of beans. This is a keeper for when we have company
Thanks! this is a great recipe. I have make it multiple times for my family who love it ❤❤❤
Thank you.
Looks delicious!
I'm a rotten cook but I think I could tackle this recipe! 👍👍

Jump out of the spoons way! Love me some goulash. I cook my pasta separate because I will freeze half. My Army is located at other Forts now. ha ha Thanks Nicole great recipe.

I made some today. Mmmm
I love goulash!!! You make it exactly like i make it. Tks nicole
I had this a lot as a a kid and we called it Slumgullion
I like it with one of the Ragu sauces
Try adding velveeta cheese to it, its so good, its like a mac and cheese goolash
Mashed potatoes with gravy (beef or chicken) is the ultimate comfort food!
I started making this about 20 years ago. I just called it pasta with meat sauce. One day I took it to a work potluck, and a coworker exclaimed, "Goulash!" Who knew this girl from East LA knew how to make Hungarian food. 😂
The Hungarian version is what Americans call beef stew. American goulash is a school cafeteria style dish that’s remained a staple go to for many as you put it: pasta and meat sauce. American goulash has been popular since the 70s. Sometimes baked as well, some refer to it as Mac and cheese’s vibrant cousin 😂
@@AskMiko I do usually bake mine after I've added some white shredded cheese in 🙃
One of my FAVORITE dishes!!! YUM! I may have to make this tonight!
I call it comfort food. 😋
Thanks a lot forgot my old recipe ❤
Delicious ❤️
The recipe in the link isn't the same as what she's cooking in the video.
Do not throw out the juices. Cook the beef in a separate pot. Let it sit on an open simmer. Stir it occasionally to get all the evaporation done. What's left over is nothing but pure meat taste, poured in with the rest of the goulash. If you do like flavorless beef then by all means dump the water out.
But you're adding more liquid to the goulash so, use your own judgment. Also one cup of cheese is never enough.
Delicious 😋
I love goulash I remember eating this as a kid and I also learned how to make it I sometimes add corn to it you could also add beans and potatoes either way they all come out good I’m gonna make some tonight I haven’t had it in years and this recipe it looks delicious
Give real Hungarian goulash a try. Much better. This is just homemade hamburger helper.
excellent video
Yummy Nicole ❤
Yummy
😋Delicious Darrrlingg 😋
🍲👨🍳 This Classic Goulash recipe is the ultimate comfort food! Easy to make and packed with flavor. Perfect for a cozy dinner at home. #Goulash #ComfortFood 🍽👌
I didn't know goulash was a one pot meal. Should try it🤔
You make it just like me lol ❤
That’s not a Dutch oven, that’s just a cooking pot. But other than that looks like a great recipe recipe. 😊
Nicole hit a home run with this, looks great! ✔⬆👍🏁➡ [Intrusive, irritating music bed courtesy of UAB Communication Studies flunkee.] ⬅
This might be too salty, but a great short precise video. Ty
I like potatoes & a nice blast of powdered cumin in mine. Making some today, in fact. Got a bunch of corkscrew pasta I'm trying to work through.
❤
I just went to print the recipe from the link and found it is quite different than Nicole's video. Allrecipes needs to get its act together!!
I am one of those weird people that hates tomatoes but likes every thing made with tomatoes.i have never seen anyone make goulash with out chunks of tomatoes. Yours looks good
I made this last week AND again today !! THANK YOU for the EASIEST dish EVER !!!
No list of ingredients?
YUP! GUD A MEAL AFTER A GUD FAMILY ARGUMENT!
Great made with venison
How much paprika and what type? Recipe I read didn't say.
You're making me hungry Nicole! I haven't tried American Goulash, but it looks like a cheeseburger chowder I've made.
Question- the recipe online says soy sauce but Nicole used Worcestershire. Does that matter?
Wow .I like it 😊
She stated up front this is the American version. And since I had first time over 55 years ago I'm going with All Recipes version.
🙂👍.
I love her
I'd like to eat this .hmmmm😮
Can I add olives 😊
You can add whatever you want
Sounds tasty, but where is the paprika? Did I miss it?
This is American goulash, not Hungarian. That's what calls for paprika. She mentioned it at the beginning, saying it was American style.
How to make goulash... Throw whatever you have in the pot 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂💯
That's what I do
Yelpa
FACTS!!!
I can't eat ground beef. So I would make it with mild sausage.
My husband will eat canned pasta but won’t eat my goulash?? I think it’s delicious!! (I hate canned pasta so to each their own!!)
The All Recipes recipe does not include the bell pepper, beef broth paprika.
Amazed at all the people that have nothing better to do than send a negative comment about Goulash of all things. Go order a pizza, I'll take the Goulash. Well done video! Thank you.
Get this woman a lozenge!
I think you need to check the recipe in your link to the one in the video. very different on ingredients. not good
No Gulasch, wherever it comes from, contents pasta/ macaroni..... Not even a "Italian" Gulasch.... But damn it looks yummy 🤤😋
Goulash… it is also why she said American goulash. Similar to football vs American football. Quite different, right?
@@AskMiko it's more like a sloppy Joe with macaroni.... Gulasch is with piece's of beef not ground beef.... I'm of Austrian descent, and the most well known Gulaschsoups is either Austrian or Hungarian, Austrian is milder, and the Hungarian (my favorite) is more spicy...... Potatoes in both, NO pasta.....
Macaroni and beef.
Look like hamburger helper to me
This is how goulash should look.
That looks pretty good. My version has kidney beans and corn and we sweeten it with brown sugar. Like spaghetti, it’s great the next day with a little pat of butter. Cheers 🍻
This is American goulash
No beans? Our family’s always a can of kidney beans
This is a ground beef stew, not a goulash. This meal will taste completely different from a real goulash. It has some parts of the recipes for the real goulash but it's missing many essential points. First of all goulash is not cooked with ground beef. Never, that's something you'd never even think of if you were from the regions where goulash is traditional meal. The major secret of goulash is that you get the taste from the browned big chunks of beef. You can't do that with ground beef. Second major part is the spices. Caraway and marjoram can't be replaced by thyme. Worcester sauce is a big no no. And no green pepper, that's just not good for the goulash, you'd be making completely different meal. Canned tomatoes are quite ok, but you should use tomato paste instead because you can sizzle it. You can't sizzle canned tomatoes. So to whoever reads this: after you try this recipe, go to a traditional restaurant and try a real goulash or get a proper recipe, they're all over the internet (no americanized versions) try to make it yourself and you'll see the big difference. Real goulash has been done for hundreds of years practically the same way and for a good reason. This dish will not have the specific and unique taste goulash is famous for so you're kinda missing the whole point of making goulash. Even though this will probably be a nice meal, it is something totally different from goulash, let's just be honest.
Um, she said that in the beginning... It's American goulash. Beef, paprika and veggies are included here, fulfilling the definition of "goulash". Please get a life.
@@TSeeker1 no, it's not goulash at all. Beef, paprika and veggies do not fulfill the definition of goulash and it's apparent that you have no idea what goulash is. You can make hundreds of different foods from these ingredients and every one of them will be different. You're talking like someone who's never tasted the real thing, but if you had, you'd never say it not a big deal. It is, because it's a completely different meal. Ground beef simply cannot taste like goulash, never, green pepper doesn't match. Goulash is very specific in terms of preparation and ingredients. This is completely different food. You can't make roast chicken and claim you made chicken cordon bleu just because both contain chicken and vegetables, don't you see how stupid that is?

Is this like hamburger helper
The website recipe is not what you are putting in it. Says soy sauce not Worcestershire sauce and doesn't say bell pepper
