Sony Discman D4/D40 repair

The sony discman D4 and D40 are basically the same model.
So two similar discmans with not so similar problems and fixes.

Sorry mate I have no idea.
I tried looking up it's manual but I found nothing.
The 1bit discmans came later, so I suspect at least it's not a 1bit dac.
