    Love mine. Been rocking the prototype for awhile now and the final release one is so much lighter (and the prototype was already light). Def noticed the handle flex right away busy as you mentioned shouldnt matter since in use it won’t be moving that direction.

    Awesome video, Adam! I think if I had more room, something like this would definitely have a home in my gym. That being said, I love my original Genesis Jack - its so convenient and handy. 100% must have item!

    Excellent review Adam, I love my Genesis Jack 2.0, works do well in my tight space and being a solo lifter, I can only load one side at a time anyway. I can definitely see this being a nice upgrade for people who train together and are constantly loading and unloading the bar. Kleva has great customer service and their packaging is the best in the game.

    I have the OG Genesis Jack and found that it’s hard to keep the other side of the bar from the Jack in place, especially when you’re offloading after work sets. But I don’t have the room in my garage for a full sized Jack. So I bought a second Genesis Jack and it’s not optimal, but it works well enough. Love the quality of the product as well as their landmine attachment. I’d get this if I had the room. Great review as always!

      Thanks for watching and sharing, bud! The landmine is excellent. Glad you found a solution that works with the dual jacks!

      Thank you so much for the support. One thing that will help substantially is leaving the collar on the opposite side as it essentially "anchors" the bar from moving.

    I hope you dont take this the wrong way but I noticed you're more comfortable talking in front of the camera. I always appreciate how articulate your reviews are and its awesome to see you sound even more natural with every new video you publish. As for the genesis jack pro, Im tempted to get it. Is it necesary? No, but thats never stopped most home gym owners lol

    What about the dimensions for raising up a trap bar? I have a Titan V2 and am assuming that many of these jacks are set up for a regular barbell…although the Titan jack does appear to have a wider receiving notch.

  • @fedguy9182
    @fedguy9182 Před 10 měsíci +1

    At half the cost I’d go with Titan. It’s a jack and I don’t care about some refinement at twice the price. Nice jack though

    Out of curiosity how long are the cross members on that PR5000 rack with the lat attachment? Really nice compact idea.

    Any storage options? Or is it basically the same issue as other full size jacks.

    • @GarageGymLab
      @GarageGymLab  Před 2 lety +1

      Nothing “off the shelf” but with it being so much lighter and not as tall, it opens up some more possibilities. Still a drawback to a full jack though.

  • @Simon-zu2rb

    Would be super cool if the next version had a folding handle so it’s an even smaller profile to store away.

      @@GarageGymLab I could put up a couple of J hooks on the sloped ceiling and possibly hang the full Jack. At 11 pounds, it would be easy.

      @@GarageGymLabI have a dedicated deadlift spot with bumper plates stored horizontally on one end of the area. I could put the jack on the same end parallel with the bumper plates since they are used only for deadlifts 90% of the time. For the 10% of the time, I can just move the jack to access the bumper plates. Now I believe I can buy one. :)

    For 300 dollars it is way too flimsy. It would have cost them a couple ounces to reinforce that handle

    • @steveciarakleva4379
      @steveciarakleva4379 Před 2 lety +4

      The handle is made of 7075 aluminum. The same aluminum used in aviation/aerospace. It has lateral flex but is actually stronger than steel, without the compromise is weight.
