PLEASE NOTE; if you want high resolution textures when you export your models, please open the Greyhound.JSON file in the same folder as your greyhound.EXE and change "cdn_downloader" from "false" to "true", save the .JSON and reopen Greyhound and re-extract your model! Your image resolution will be way better 🎉🎉
the image loaded is 2048x2048, but what i exported is still 512x512. have already changed the json setting

I have been trying to find an updated version on this for a very very long time. you have earned a sub evan, i've been trying for sometime to actually get MWIII models over to blender and this video is amazing. i can't wait for the other tutorials to come out for this. thank you again.
Good tutorial dude, easy to follow and straight to the point. Also a little tip for all those new to working with CLI, if you cock up entering a command in (almost) any form of command line programming then you can just use the UP arrow on your keyboard to auto-fill the line that you last tried to execute.
I've been looking for something so I could export my CoD models into Fallout. A lot I enjoy haven't been released yet for modding use.

I'm an absolute hack who only learned Blender to edit other people's mods to my own taste. I've never learned proper anything in Blender, don't even know how to make a donut, but today, you helped me take the first step in porting models from MW2 to RE Engine. Plenty other modders have done it and I've been very envious of what they've been able to do. Now I at least know where to begin. Great video btw it was super helpful and it helped me but quick question. Would you have to do the file dump everytime you want to extract something from the game or is the dump only a one time thing you have to to?
You only have to dump the game once, then you can just boot up Greyhound and Cordy whenever 👍

I'm trying to get the model to 3d print it as decoration for my desk, but unfortunately do not own the game for PC as I play most of my stuff on console.
found this recently, this was a fantastic tutorial that helped me out a lot in ripping various assets from various games, thank you so much for making it. A future tutorial would be how to port these assets to other engines (I used this tutorial to help port camos to a unity project for fun and had to play around with the normal maps to get them looking right), just general fixes and cleanup would be awesome. Thank you again for the video!!

Depends on the images you want, but I don’t think Cordycep will load image’s specifically. It will just load images associated with whatever models you pick from. So if you wanted multiplayer images I would try *mp* or just load everything with **

I am looking for the full resolution gun camo images, I can only find ui_camo but they are just very small preview images of the texture. Is there a certain keyword i need to look for to find the camos color and normal and roughness,etc?

i been trying to get cod vanguard german models out but when i type sethandler vg init "D:\Call of Duty" setlocaleprefix "eng_" loadcommonfiles it fails and says failed to dump files and the dump file and check it but i did and still so help?

Is there a reason to use SEModel and SEAnim over Cast? I tried using Cast, because the seanim and semodel plugins didn't install properly, and I didn't notice any significant difference from the tutorial.
It’s just preference as far as I’m aware, I have never used cast previously so I prefer seanim/semodel.

Would there be any reason to why the extracted textures come out super low quality? Most end up being 512x512 or 1024x512 at best.

Hey bro your tutorial have been great and I could saftely extract the files. However, the objects have always seemed not the highest lod like for example the circles on a weapons is kind of a decadagon will you make a video fixing this if there is a solution thanks so much anyways tho!!!!

When I load into black ops 3, with greyhound open and find the model I want, in this case it's the Stamin-up model, I click it and try to export it but Greyhound crashes. Any idea why?
Greyhound has had a few similar bugs recently, I’m sure it will be fixed in an update soon, try downloading an older version for now and see if that works.
What if I wanted to export a gun with its animation such as inspection, scope in, bolt animation and all that ?
You absolutely can, it’s just a bit finicky at times.

I'm sorry but since I do dot own the assets, I don't believe sharing them would be legal. Showing you how to extract them from your personal computer for own personal use is one thing, but sharing them is not something I am able to do.
I'm losing my mind. How is it that I can play as firecracker in the game but when I load all the models she isn't there? The naming convention makes no sense outside of specific prefixes but there has to be a list somewhere to let us know what is what. It took me forever to find izanami only to realize they listed her as two seperate names for her head and body; "neotokyo" and "anime"
check if she and black noir are under the iw9 tag like homelander was (mp_hl_iw9)
mw2019 anti-cheat causes problems for greyhound. but after game supresence errors persist.
Greyhound alone will not work, I haven’t ripped from mw19 in a hot minute but if you have trouble feel free to join the discord 👍

Doesn't work with the steam version of MW3. There is no retail folder, and copying the path of cod.exe where it is installed just says dump failed. Wish it worked!

The main installation folder that @mcpraven is talking about is the one with the cod.exe folder. Of course replace the path with your installation folder.

Just skip the dump step, everything else is the same. Boot up cordy, type in sethandler mw6 init… whatever, and then load up greyhound.

i could do this if most of these games WERE CRACKED, as paying for it is a douchebag's move... i could do advanced and infinite warfare with no problem, but the rest? no thank you, "aCtIvIsIoN."
maybe you should make a archive containing all the sounds, voiceline and otherwise, from the MW games... as others seems to be showcasing them only, not both.
and no "in discord only" horsecrap, just like cordycep's predecessor, put it in mega or mediafire.
I don’t share assets I don’t own so even if you decided to join the discord you would only find help for getting Cordy/greyhound running. And I’m not sure if the software works on cracked games anyway, luckily Warzone is free if you’re interested in extracting those files/voice lines 👍
@@EvanTyler223 Cold War was easy to deal with when the greyhound was recently updated, but it was a pain in the ass before that, but the other games are a entirely different story.

It’s not rules, it’s my personal principles. I used to make asset dumps but that was when I was a kid and my perspective on the subject has changed. If you look hard enough you can find whatever you want online, but my tutorials are meant to be helpful/educational not just a place to download assets. I hope you find everything you’re looking for though bro 👍
