My sentiments exactly. I realised as I got older that it was pointless worrying over things out of your control. It would just raise your blood pressure not solve your problem. I am a lot happier striving g for this and trying to get my husband to have the same frame of mind. Have a great weekend, and week ahead.

Well said Doc. I think a lot of us learn this lesson as we age but it would be so helpful to learn it much earlier. Another thing I learned that goes along with this lesson is if you see, hear or learn something troubling about someone in the work place, if you are not in a position to handle it,, (meaning a management position) then hand it off to HR or to a manager. DO NOT gossip about it, don’t tell others, or do nothing. You do not up YOUR credibility by sharing other people’s personal information with people who have no reason to know anything about it. You also are not walking in that persons shoes and you don’t know what’s going on in their life.

You can't save everyone. The best strategy is to focus on saving yourself.

You're right - that's "The Wooden Effect" .."Time is limited. Focus on what you can improve, correct, or change. Ignore what you can't control." There's no room in anyone's life for shoulda, woulda, coulda 😉
