👏👏👏 I’ve always believed in the importance of ‘taking pride’ in your work - which is essentially the same attitude you’re describing as always doing your best. So I’m sitting here enjoying your podcast, nodding to myself in a very self-satisfied way, when there’s a sting in the tail. I take pride and do my best at work, but do I always apply that to my relationships, my fitness and other areas of my life? 🤔 No, I do not. I decide it’s a bit chilly so I’ll skip my morning run, I decide I’ll call that friend “later” and then forget… 😮 Thanks for the Sunday morning wake-up call, Doc - I’m putting the iPad down now, because it turns out I have a LOT to do today❣️😄👍

Bermuda is wonderful- first place I swam with dolphins, and I bought a beautiful emerald ring (pear cut and flawless from Crissons). But I understand your upbringing... I went to school in the 60s and 70s and teaching was memory focused - there was no explination of why. I was definately middle of the road until I got to college and relized that learning was REAL. I went from a mid C Average in HS to a 4.0 in college... learning was interesting in college😂💚
Actually learning is the key! Go figure! Let’s get it! 👊🏽
