Land Rover Cross Country Trials - The Christmas Cup

The British at play, what's not to like. - We join the Southern Rover Owners club in Cowbeech, East Sussex for their annual Christmas Cup.
The trials consist of a number of sections made up of pairs of sticks or canes, known as ‘gates’, defining the route. This involves precision driving, where competitors attempt to navigate their vehicles through a dozen gates without touching any of them or stopping.

Do they all have to be open axle duffs? Ie non lockers fitted to them?
