    Also what did you use for the frame work for the cab? How big is the box section, if it is box section

    The pipe bender at 6:49, is that what you used to build the cage? Wondering if they are any good.

      Most of it was a pre bought cage off ebay but chopped most of it up and reconfigured it to how I wanted it to look. The benders are OK but leave dents in the tube no matter how you bend it them 10mm increments or all in one.

    How did you join the steel bulk head to the aluminium rear door

    • @dorgsautos8671
      @dorgsautos8671  Před 3 lety

      I riveted the ally panel with some angle brackets up inside and then fibergalssed the inside corner, then filled with filler and painted to give the smooth look, inside I welded a panel from the floor up to panel where the glass would be on the rear door and welded that to the rear of the cab to make the cab watertight if that makes sense

      @@dorgsautos8671 I’ve built my own frame for the back of my cab out of 3x3 box, but need to find a sheet big enough to cover the lot. Did you use one piece of sheet or did you do it in sections?

    • @dorgsautos8671
      @dorgsautos8671  Před 2 lety

      @@toml7934 I used 2 prices mate you can probably see the join in the middle, I seem welded them and then flushed the welds with a grinder then tried to Smith body filler. Wasn't the best job idealy 1 piece would be better.
