It really blew my mind when I first heard that Johnny basically stole Joey’s girl and that they didn’t talk for like 10 years. All while touring and still making music!!! Like how is that even possible? Pretty crazy...hope he makes the movie.
Linda is just as much to blame if not more than Johnny. Could see if she dated Joey for a week or two...not 3 years and engaged to him.

Linda and Mickey don't get along. Like u said, the Johnny and Joey thing hasn't died. It sucks, because they co own the estate, so less cool stuff will happen b/c of their bad relationship. Linda also gummed up the Ramones part of the CBGB movie- no Ramones music (they used Joey solo stuff instead).

Wasn't it a guy from another, less successful band who was seeing his ex and Johnny ran over the street shouting "I'm gonna kill you", only to receive an absolute hiding? I remember the story vaguely from the "On the Road With the Ramones" book that Monte Melnick released a good few years back.

Johnny Ramone tells the story himself about getting his head kicked in in his book "Commando". The guy should had gone to jail. At least assuming it happened the way Johnny tells it in his book.
Linda always sounded messed up to me how she left Joey and could have cared less what he thought after shacking up with Johnny.

Linda Daniele was a groupie - she never played in the band and therefore is not a Ramone. Who can forget the way she treated Johnny's mum, Stella, after Johnny died. She didn't even invite her to Johnny's cremation service and then didn't send her a nickel from his estate. She is bad news for Ramones' fans.

She was just a groupie, and the main reason Johnny didn't attended Joey's funeral, and when Johnny died the way she treated his mother, preventing her to attend her sons funeral says it all. At Joeys' funeral Debbie Harry and Crhis Stein from Blondie plus Joan Jett and many others were there to say good bye to their friend. None of them came to Johnny's funeral, wonder who "prevent" them to come...
And now she's got the power of decision about the Ramones legacy? but WTF!!

I watched Pistol...I didn't think it was that bad even thou some of it was not accurate. But to me it is better than watching 99% of whats on the tube these days.
