I am glad to be seeing so many videos for these exercises. I can't even tell how bad it is until I lose some of the extra weight from my son. So I have started walking again, and doing basic yoga stretches, and playing just dance again. But I want to mix these in as well so it can be working in tandem as I move towards getting back on track. Thank you for these simple exercises.❤

For those who came to know abt results, this is for you. All those exercises are really effective... I am doing it for past 2 weeks... At first i had almost 2 finger gap and now it's only half finger gap. So I'd definitely recommend this exercise. For those who are in dilema, you can definitely try...

The ONLY workouts that helped me after trying so many. However I did this for 2.5 weeks because my abs were spilt about 4 fingers. After 1 week I was so surprised at how much they closed up, so I just kept at it for about 2 weeks. I did these three exercises in addition to standing marches with a 10lbs dumbbell. I did about 20 reps 3 sets. Now my abs are completely closed!!!!! Still can’t believe it!

After 5 babies and years of severe diastasis recti, this challenge actually worked! To get the best results, I stopped doing any other type of workouts and only did a 15-20m run about 5 times a week while doing this challenge. It's been 2 weeks and I've seen HUGE improvement when nothing else has worked. I did 3 rounds of 10 reps of all 3 moves daily. (After 1 month I will resume other workouts, but I didn't want to do anything that might affect my abdominal area during this challenge.) Thanks so much for this video! 🎉

I had my first baby 6 months ago.
I’m embarrassed to say that I gained 30kg through my pregnancy.
I started eating clean and lost a few kilos over the last few weeks then I started lurking CZcams for some workout inspiration when I stumbled on this video.
I’ve done these exercises twice a day for the last 4 days and I already feel the difference! I was struggling to do crunches cause I had no core strength and these have given me enough in such a short time, today I did my first 20 minute full body workout and I was able to do the whole thing.
Thank you for making a short and realistic goal for mums to start their journey back into their bodies.

@@BodiesAfterBabies Is there any specific reason why we are not told about this? I have been complaining in multiple doctor's appointments about the bulge and lower back pain and serious pelvic pain, plus urinary issues for the past 8 years.
Why doesn't anyone ever talk about this and why did the doctor's never tell me after 8 years of suffering and complaining???

    • @Microcytic
      @Microcytic Před 3 lety +3

@@volkzy__ I'm actually six days overdue with my first child and waiting to deliver my baby. I'm trying to avoid and induction.
When it comes to these issues, personal interest in anything relating to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery plays a huge factor in the way we approach the journey to motherhood.
To defend yourself from medical omissions, negligence and obstetric violence you need to inform and educate yourself as much as possible so that you can make informed decisions about the type of care you receive.
Please, allow me to explain: doctors in general WON'T go into detail about the risks of vaginal delivery and after birth consequences to more easily dissuade a woman from requesting a C-section.
No matter how much you can pay a private gynecologist, even he or she will try to dissuade you from requesting a C-section and this is due to a 20 year campaign to reduce the rate of C-sections throughout Europe (I live in Europe, Italy and you have to have a certified risky pregnancy, a breech bay, a very difficult labor where your life is at risk, or threaten them to call the police while laboring to get one - this is no joke, I actually know someone who did it. Otherwise, people just go to a private clinic to have an elective C-section with no objections).
The result of this policy is that medical practitioners will omit dramatic facts regarding gynaecological injuries sustained during vaginal delivery like third degree lacerations, perineal injuries, vaginal prolapse and both urinary and fecal incontinence. The pre-partum courses are mainly focused on the delivery and very little information is given relating to pelvic floor and perineal injuries; they talk about "engaging and exercising your pelvic muscle" but say nothing about the damage a protracted labour can and will do to a first time mother.
To know about these dramatic facts I had to meet someone permanently damaged by vaginal delivery so that I decided to inform myself about anything related to obstetric violence (is the mistreatment of women during childbirth in the form(s) of neglect, physical abuse and/or lack of respect).
When it comes to diastasis recti, I also met someone who has it and is the result of not being properly informed about the methods to avoid it during and after pregnancy. She changed gynecologist for her second pregnancy and even had to endure being told off by the new one because "her belly was way bigger than the size of the baby she was carrying due to her neglecting her diastasis recti", how was she supposed to know if she had never been informed about it? She didn't even know it was a medical condition.
Unfortunately, it is up TO US to inform ourselves before each medical appointment so that we can ask pertinent questions regarding the care we are receiving up to that point and the next course of action in the next appointments. for example: in Italy, as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed by the gynecologist of your choice he/she will give you a "pregnancy book" an schedule where all the tests and pre-partum examinations are indicated following the weekly progress of your pregnancy. Your gynecologist, on every appointment, will underline the next tests to have and explain generally what the next appointment will be about (ideally, should be like this). In my personal case, I decided to do research regarding ever test prescribed at each appointment so that I was prepared and asked important questions to protect both my baby and myself.
Even the women we love in our lives are failing the younger generations by romanticizing childbirth even though they themselves had traumatic experiences.
The general stance in Italy is "if you say such things even less children will be born in this country (birth rate in Italy is at the Lowest ever). There's no need to scare people".
      This helps no one.

Thank you so much. Didn’t know where to start. I have three children. Last child is 13 years of age. I have almost three finger gap above my belly button. The gap never closed I’m having tummy trouble daily. Hoping to close the gap and for it to get better so I don’t need surgery. I’m starting to get stressed and little worried.

I just want to say that I love that I found this video! It is very appreciated and I’m so excited to finally see some results and hopefully get some relief from back pain. Things like this are wonderful for moms because I feel like the recovery process after giving birth is what no one actually tells you about or prepares you for but it can be so difficult, in numerous ways! I was also wondering though, once you start to see a difference with the Diastasis Recti, what is the best next step to toning your body? Like are there any other certain exercises or anything? I’m just clueless because I didn’t even really know about Diastasis Recti until doing research about recovery after giving birth so I also had no idea that it wasn’t good to do crunches and things like that and now I’m just trying to make sure I do everything the right way.

Last time I started exercising 2 weeks after my son was born and that was too early as my stitches opened up. So this time I'm going to start later. But trust me it's effective. I got to a flat tummy in 7months ofcourse after a month of o my these exercises I added to my workout Squats mountain climbers jumping planks among other home exercises. I didn't diet as such but I did follow portion control and I ate 5/6 small meals through the day instead of just 3.
