I remain surprised that this is even the standard pin. We do it differently -- from kuzure kami shiho gatame, suppose your left arm is the overhook through the armpit to his collar: do a sit-through with the right leg and crunch in with weight between the clavicles. That version is *much* harder to escape. It's plate #1 on page 126 of Mifune's Canon of Judo, and seems to be his preferred version of the pin.
