43:50 Nah, Prime 1 is AFTER the first Metroid. The entire Prime series is set between Metroid 1/Zero Mission and Metroid 2/Samus Returns
Which gets funnier with every addition to the Prime series.

Take Super for example;
The Reveal of Ridley being alive means NOTHING nowadays, since dying/coming back is something he constantly does until he's gone for good.
Same with Kraid, who originally was smaller, but his revival did "something" to him to make him Gigantic in Super.
(Now thanks to Zero Mission, Kraid has ALWAYS been a Big Monster Man.)

The Switch versions of Tropical Freeze and Returns should have swapped release dates.
@@diegomedina9637 Nah, I understand re-releasing Tropical Freeze first. That originally released on Wii U, so that port was more urgent to do to get more eyes on it and make sure Retros work didn't go to waste there. However, I do believe Returns HD should've happened like a year or two after the Tropical Freeze port, not SIX YEARS. Feels weird that they'd wait that long.
@@shiethegal Yeah... But considering they also re release Returns for the 3DS also means Returns Wii also didn't sold that well and I don't think it even sold well on 3DS either, so I would rather them do this first then Tropical Freeze.

Joel, people don't think of 2D and 3D zelda games like they are the same devs. Noone is upset that Zelda Echoes of Wisdom isn't tears of the kingdom 2. Why would you think that? 2D and 3D zelda games have co-existed since the N64. This is normal.

@@thomasb7347 No? IIRC, the games had _zero_ reliance on StreetPass.
What it used was nearby Wi-Fi signals (as in, the _signals themselves_ -- being connected to a network does not influence things) to generate the titular Denpa Men, which you could then find and catch via the system's camera. And there's plenty of those to go around.
And if you happen to live somewhere with very little Wi-Fi signals in the area, the games also supported scanning QR codes containing data on individual Denpa Men (which could also be exploited to generate custom-tailored Denpa Men should you manage to come across software that can generate such things).
Seeing Joel react to Phantom Brave is the closest we get to him seeing a Disgaea game.

Unless if based on MvC2 HD, it is hard to believe Capcom managed to emulate NAOMI stuff, bypassing any of Sega's current offerings (they're still stuck with Model 3 games on recent LaD games).

The Aspect ratio of 2 is off compared to the old HD release so it's not base off from that I think.
They are new ports, a la the other arcade collections. PS4 and Steam are also getting this - and yes, there is rollback, per the extended trailer in Capcom's YT.

I guess I'm the opposite of Uncle Joey. I like RPG's and long games because I like to invest time in games and achieve long term progression. Short games are usually over before I feel like truly I got anything out of it. If that makes sense.

IF they'd do a complete re-release of earlier consoles, I'd be all for that. Games don't age as much as controllers and consoles, fresh hardware would make retro gaming fun. But instead they are making retro game releases play like ass on wonky emulators, which is just an insult to their older fans.
They did that before with the NES and SNES Mini back in 2016, and it was a hit. I'd like to maybe see the same with the N64 or Game Boy, though.
