The binary says "Oh lord we love how you suffer". I'm definitely interested in this game and can't wait for it to come out! I love the Humongous Adventure game little clickables they put in everywhere. That was a nice touch. I loved those games as a kid.

This game is going for the early Humongous entertainment graphical style like the first 2 Putt Putt games and Fatty Bear. It would make all the random clickables make sense
Most point and clickers of that era had random clickables. Half of the Tonka games had things like that on the menus

ikr, i felt inspired to try to actually make a weird game on my own, about the things i find cool. Cuz, its like the creator just put stuff in the game because they found it fun, and it i think that shows that this is exactly what makes games fun. I always thought that making games needs to be done in a certain way because "that's how its done and its not a real thing otherwise" and that I don't have the skill for that yet or something, but I guess it's more like just: do whatever as long as you like it lol

Botanicula is epic.
IMO Botanicula is Amanita's worst game. Most of the puzzles are just trial and error until you happen to guess the correct character.
Right after this he said that he was hoping to play Grim Fandango on stream eventually
My favorite kind of Joel streams, him playing through Harvester and Phantasmagoria are some of his most comfy content
