    I had the picosure laser done for my asian skin and the results were awful because the Esthetician neglected to put me on a whitening cream prior to treatment. My results were Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation

    • @EnsoulMedicalClinic
      @EnsoulMedicalClinic  Před 3 lety

      For laser treatment also lies a lot on the hands of the practitioner and ability to identified the type of pigmentation that you have. Picosure does not tackle all types in fact and some would adverse results. Hence in our clinic, we need a repertoire of lasers to deal with different type pigmentation.

      Hi Deckyi, similar to tattoo removal, it depends on the colour of the tattoo, how long it has been and the technique the tattoo artist uses. Best to see a doctor for a more detailed assessment and recommendation. Choose a clinic that offers various type of laser machines to remove the tattoo.

    • @EnsoulMedicalClinic
      @EnsoulMedicalClinic  Před 3 lety

      Hi Chris,
      Neatcell is a home laser pen. Home machines are always underpowered so if you have not seen any results with Q switch lasers the home machines are unlikely to show any results. You may need a laser machine of a different wavelength or a more powerful laser-like a picosecond laser.

    I have a question why isn't the laser able to destroy all the ink at once ?

    • @EnsoulMedicalClinic
      @EnsoulMedicalClinic  Před 4 lety +3

      Hi Brian, here are the following reasons why ink cannot be destroyed in just one session.
      1) The positioning of your tattoo - The placement of the tattoo can determine the effectiveness of the lasers such as the face, neck and back. As these areas have high blood and lymph node counts which can make tattoo removal easier. Other areas, such as arms and legs can also be removed/lighten.
      2) The age of your tattoo - Older tattoos are exposed to the sun and this makes the ink fades over time. Thus making it easier to remove as compared to fresh ink.
      3) The depth of the ink - When the ink penetrates into the second layer of the skin known as the dermis layer, which is protected by the epidermis (the superficial layer of the skin). The further into the dermis the ink penetrates, the harder it is for the lasers to remove.
      4) The type of ink used and the method your tattoo artist used.
      5) Type of colours used: Dark colours tattoo are easier to remove than lighter ones. No single laser can remove all tattoo colours. Different dyes respond to different light wavelengths as well. For example, black and dark green are the easiest colours to remove, other colours such as yellow, purple, turquoise and etc dyes are the hardest to fade. Thus, it requires different lasers with different wavelengths to remove coloured inks and a few sessions to break down these pigments.
      Hope this clarifies :)

    • @EnsoulMedicalClinic
      @EnsoulMedicalClinic  Před 2 lety

      Hi, the number of sessions for tattoo removal is dependent on a couple of considerations such as the type of tattoo, the colour as well as the age of the tattoo. It is best to speak to your doctor for a more comprehensive assessment and treatment plan.

    I't's a difficult way to remove tatoo, ink, therefore don't ever start to add tattoo's to your body in the first place, it's a waste of work, "art", express your art intuition paint to canvas, not to your skin, you can sell canvas, you can not sell your own tatoo. else, I don't want the waste to pass thru my body system, for being released.
