The best part with Europe. It's short distance between the countries, at least with a flight. From Oslo to Mediterranean, Spain France, Italy. It's about 3 to 4 hours flight. So even just a weekend trip, can be done.

Next time you go to Nordby Sweden, remember to go to Asia store in Strømstad, my Filipino wife loves it. There we can buy everything she wants from Asian food at half the price in Norway. We also buy 20 kg of rice there when we need this, recommend Royal Thai rice, jasmine, good luck living in Norway

Lyn, this looks like a Costco or Sam's club in the US...but the best part is in this market they give free samples so you can walk around just tasting free food...and they have a pizza for $5 that is so yummy

Is there any visa requirement to cross over from Norway to Sweden? I didn't see a checkpoint.
No need for any visa or passport. It is a checkpoint, in general they are just for the trucks. It's very easy to cross the border.
@@markus6635 Do you mean any Nationality visiting Norway can just cross over to Sweden without being checked at the border. Don't they need a Schengen visa? Is there no checking at the border to see if a person has the necessary documentation to enter Sweden and back to Norway?
@@theburtonchannel Yes, so if you are in Norway that means you already have a Schengen visa. You can travel everywhere in Europe. Back and forward. Even between Sweden and Norway. But as usual, if you gonna take a flight, then you need to have a passport, or for me some other national ID. Thats for the airliner, if you gonna travel in Europe. Even when Im travel to Spain, and arrive. by a flight Theres nobody . there to check my passport.

@@ReynalynJaingaAdLynture123 Ah yes - cheaper beer maybe? 😁 Sadly probably no more Norway for me - I worked for Det Norske Veritas for ~6 years but no longer. Their main office is in Hovik (very nice place to work if you are ever looking to work in Norway) and they have office in Pasay, Philippines.
Lyn, just to make sure take the money to the bank and let them tell you about the money. It's possible the money is not fair but it's money no longer used and to teach the kids a lesson about honesty and go back to the person who gave you the money...just to let her know what she did was wrong
