  • The guys have driven the Civic Si, and come away impressed. The Civic Touring seems like it's pretty much up for anything, and possibly just a little too willing. Does this mean every Honda vehicle has this quality? Join them for a real time Test Drive.

It was amazing just how spot on these two are. I drove a Civic as a young man, but have been in mide size cars for 30 years. Needing a new car a few months ago I came across this Civic looking at Accords. I could not justify buying a 40k Accord when this was available. I got the sport touring to get even more bang for the buck. Now it might look funny to see a 60 year old climb into a hatchback but I don't care. I like it.

If you're gonna get this it's silly not to get the hatch imo

I think our apathy for CVT has stemmed from the awful Nissan/JATCO CVT that were offloaded on us.

I would love to see the guys review a Sport Touring Hatchback with a 6-speed manual.

At one time Honda Civic was affordable Transportation but unfortunately that doesn't exist anymore

This trim just adds to the argument - Why spend another $10K for an Integra? Unless you get the manual Integra of course.

Honda did a great job on this car. They copied Audi for the interior on simplistic approach with great knobs and controls all ergonomically correct. Everything has a nice tactile feel too.

This car is fantastic, especially in a hatch with the stick. It's just a huge shame dealers are pushing nearly 40k out the door for these

Good luck getting this car at 30k. All the dealerships are just jackals.

People will bash on CVTs just out of ignorance but they’re not all created equal. I’m a car guy and my daily driver has been an eCVT for the last 6 years and it doesn’t feel bad at all, and driving this CVT felt great and so smooth.

I have watched a lot of car review videos and I think these guys nailed what's important for the daily driver. I drive over 25k miles a year so comfort, road noise and handling are really important to me. I was pretty set on buying a K5 EX, all the bells and whistles but before I ever drove the K5 I drove the new Civic Touring, big mistake! The Civic had almost everything I was looking for and it's super comfortable and fun to drive. That next weekend I finally found the K5 I was looking for. The K5 has some really cool features, surround camera, vented front seats, electric folding mirrors and the road following features are excellent. Leaving the dealership, I could tell right away this is no where near the ride quality of the Civic, more cabin noise and does not take the bumps like the Civic. As soon as I got up to highway speed on the interstate, the disappointment deepened, this is not the road trip car for me. The Civic now rivals many midsize cars. I have driven the Accord for years and I actually like the Civic better than my Accord and the Civic is a much lower price point and gets way better gas mileage. If your shopping for a midsize car don't drive the Civic until you have driven all other cars you are interested in because the Civic will spoil you.

I really like this new Civic Touring. However, I own a '20 Accord Touring 2.0T and I absolutely love the power of my car. If the 2.0T engine didn't exist, I would for sure consider getting a Civic Touring. I'm really glad that Honda engineered the Civic so well. I'm very excited to see what they're going to do with the next generation '23 Honda Accord. If they improve the Accord on par with the improvements they made on the Civic, there's a very strong probability that there will be a '23 Accord Touring in my garage sometime next year. 08/27/22.

Honda earned my business back in 2018. I love how they have so much confidence in their product on the trade in deals. My first was a grey 2018 Civic LX, then I traded it for a white 2020 Civic Touring and I just traded for a black 2023 Civic Touring. I can't wait until it arrives in a few weeks! Looking forward to cracking a beer and going sky diving!

34 MPG with regular pump gas, on a vtec (kind of) 1.5t. I don't know about you but I like this 11th gen Civic the more I hear about it.

It was great that you guys noticed the growth in the Civic and the Accord. Kind of makes you wonder if now Honda will come out for the North American Market with a compact, like they did with the HRV and the CRV and Pilot got bigger. Maybe a Yaris fighter, provided of course that it sells, but maybe that’s what the base Civic is and they just rid of the FIT. I just liked the styling and size of the early 80’s Honda Civic CVCC Hatchback. I had a friend with a Red one that looked kind of cool

Great video as always gentlemen but I Really wish more car reviewers would also review the base 2.0 engine in a manual.
