Those laptop body shells are often Magnesium when they weigh nothing. Some have the recycle symbol with Mg written inside the triangle. 👍

Thanks Phil. This kind of videos are so nice to see.Stripping means a lot of garbage mostly but in this video I thought it wasn't that much as usual. Stripping means also a difference of metals, and it adds up indeed, and I like to see and hear how much differences there are in materials.

It would be nice to see you take those Aluminum parts apart with air chisel also air chisel works best for motor windings if you don't have a vise.

In December, you said due to tax reasons, you are holding off yard runs till new year. What are your plans for yard runs? I am sure with so much Alu and SS you hold, you will crash prices in the market after your yard runs 😁😁
Few days ago, Florida scrapper got 9 US cents per pound of shred after getting 9.75 for almost 6 months. I don't know whether price drop in Florida is of relevance to you.

Shred should be around $200 for me? I plan to sell when prices for copper & Brass bounces up

Nice long video. You are stripping everything for viewers. Some items generate so much plastic, it is better of throwing the whole thing in shred, like the copier. It would save you time for other stripping to generate value for you.

That's why i don't scrap fans or vacuums & small electrical items, I scrapped that scanner for my viewers, But the board was good
