    Grab mini blinds at bottom after cutting strings at top. Pull on strings from bottom. They are out tighter bottom up.

      I think on those blinds you got to get that middle string out because it goes through all of the blinds and if you pull that metal string out. I noticed on your last when you did that middle string wasn't there and then you can just pull them off easy. I think that's how it's done

    Oh I'm jealous of your snap ring tool! I have the adjustable one where you flip the head and it's total garbage. Almost never works! Time to upgrade.

      I had a good one but can't find it so I brought these ones, Only good for larger rings

    It is interesting to see how you can convert a dirty Aluminum (30 cents a pound) window blind into an old sheet Aluminum (88 cents a pound) by removing a simple string. Good load of copper coils there from transformers.

    I think on those blinds there's a single string that goes up on both sides and one in the middle and if you cut those strings then I think you can pull it out. Like you said, next time I get a set of blinds I'm going to try it.

      Some are easy

      @Nas_Atlas Před rokem +4

      Ya you have to pull the middle runner strings out first and then blinds will come out sideways from the string no problem.

    Take a second look at those blinds next time. You have to pull the middle lifting string out first if it has one then the string will come out the side no problem.

    I think silver plate can also be nickel-brass alloy which is silvery color, rather than yellow, have you heard of that?
