  • Chicken spring rolls - Make & Freeze Recipe by Rizwan cooking channel (Ramzan special recipe) in English subtitles
    Ingredients:
    - 200g boneless chicken, thinly sliced
    - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    - 1 small onion, finely chopped
    - 2 cloves garlic, minced
    - 1 small carrot, julienned
    - 1 cup cabbage, thinly sliced
    - 2-3 spring onions, finely chopped
    - Salt and pepper to taste
    - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    - Spring roll wrappers
    - Oil for frying
    Instructions:
    1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
    2. Add sliced chicken to the pan and cook until it's no longer pink.
    3. Stir in julienned carrots, sliced cabbage, and chopped spring onions. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
    4. Season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and let the filling cool down.
    5. Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a clean surface in a diamond shape, with one corner facing you.
    6. Spoon some of the chicken and vegetable filling onto the bottom corner of the wrapper. Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
    7. Moisten the top corner of the wrapper with water to seal the spring roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
    8. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the spring rolls in the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.
    9. Once cooked, remove the spring rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
    10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy your delicious homemade chicken spring rolls!
    Note: You can also bake these spring rolls for a healthier option. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake the rolls on a greased baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
