If the front pocket can access the inside what is to stop the baggage handlers stealing your stuff? Also, are there 2 lockable zips to the main compartment?

  • @getouttheretoursandtravel

Everything I wanted to know, but I hadn’t expected the outer pocket to actually go inside. Is the zipper on the outer pocket lockable? Thanks for the good review!

The big main zipper is lockable, but the small pocket is not. Thanks for the feedback!

thoughts on using this for a two week trip to thailand?

I would recommend this bag for pretty much any use, except if you need to carry it a long distance. If that is the case, take a backpack!

A 60 liter would be better. You won't have to check your bag. And without needing winter clothes , a 60 l would be plenty big for two weeks.

Hey man, really liked the review and I think you presented its features very well :) However I'd love some information about this bag in terms of weather/water resistance as I'm considering a bag to bring for a motorcycle adventure (however not one of those riding every day during the entire trip, but perhaps for 1-3 days, then staying at a place for some months etc..) Any info highly appreciated :)

I think it would be fine for 1-3 days, but I would put anything that needed to be dry in dry bags since this bag has a lot of zippers. The Patagonia bag is good for around town considering the size and carrying options. If you were doing a three week trip you would want something more resistant. I took a KLR 650 for three weeks around BC and Alaska (5k + miles) and it rained pretty much every day and I was glad I had a dry bag strapped on the back!

@@SimplyBrock Thanks for the swift and detailed response - highly appreciated! Yes, this is what I'm thinking aswell.. Rain is never that predictable.. :P I just can't seem to find that many dry bags (big bags 60-70 l), if you have any recommendations do share :) Thanks again

Check NRS or Sealline. Great experience with both brands.

    Can this be carried on?

This model is too large to carry on when full. But it really depends on the gate agent.

Good review. The music is annoying. It’s unnecessary and just make it harder to hear your voice.
