The Arnie is not ugly. It is beautiful like a 1911 pistol is beautiful. All business, nothing frivolous or merely decorative. The 1911 pistol is all business. Pure mission oriented without any frivolity. The Arnie has a brutalim feel to it without being overly complicated like Casio G Shock, where you need to memorize to push four buttons, two of them simultaneously for several seconds while tapping Shave and A Haircut, Two Bits, on the other two buttons while facing the sun, doing the morning dog yoga position, just to go from daylight savings time to standard time.

This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

I got the carbon fiber sirus and love it for city biking. Only downside is I cant mount a rack to it, but other than that its fantastic. You can still get good speed and performance out of it but I dont feel worried about popping onto the sidewalk or grass if I have to which is the main reason I went for it. I would deffinatley reccommend the Sirus platform, but I think it might make more sense to go with an alloy frame than carbon fiber, but that just boils down to preference.

It's a nicely designed bag, rugged and with a classic touch of leather and brass against the cotton twill fabric.. but It's over priced.. In a way thats a good thing bec the co. is thinkin about the quality: value as their marketing tool and it wouldnt saturate the market yet they have a good profit margin to sustain themselves in this globalized market. So is it worth it.. Well, depends if you have the extra cash at hand.. if not.. wait til you do.. like for any product that you do not 'need' but just want to have.

I think it would be fine for 1-3 days, but I would put anything that needed to be dry in dry bags since this bag has a lot of zippers. The Patagonia bag is good for around town considering the size and carrying options. If you were doing a three week trip you would want something more resistant. I took a KLR 650 for three weeks around BC and Alaska (5k + miles) and it rained pretty much every day and I was glad I had a dry bag strapped on the back!
