😭 it's so surreal to think that there are a new batch of students preparing to apply to University. I've been so wrapped up in my own application processes, that this has left me dumbfounded in a way haha.😆 Best of luck to anyone who applied this year and best of luck to those applying in the future too!
Good luck to you too!
Just submitted my PPE application a few days ago and sat my TSA, wish me luck dear internet❤
same here 😫
How was tsa for you
Hope you do well! :)
How's your tsa??
my PAT is tomorrow aghggghhhh
how did tsa go for you guys? found problem solving quite easy but critical thinking was very weird
Hey there! I’m back writing another comment on your video thanking you for the help. I’m at the moment in year 11 (even though I go to school in italy which means I go to school for one more year than British schools) and I would love to go to Oxford for PPE. Thanks for the tips which I’ll use in the coming years whilst trying to better myself for an application. As I have until 2027 before I go off to uni you’ll probably see me in many future comment sections hahah. Thank you very much and can’t wait for the next video!
Thank you!
BEYOND THE STAR ⭐️
Yeah i left this a bit late on dear oh well application submitted 😬
Good luck to all those applying next year!
Hello there, thanks for all the great videos. I am applying for engineering, although I am post-qualifications (gap year). I have tried to get onto the YINI program but there are none in my local area and they were all full. I am wondering if my application is going to be at a significant disadvantage.? Will my interviewers ask me about my plans and if so how can I prove to an admission tutor I am using my year constructively?
It would not be held against you if you were unable to obtain a year in industry. It is a good idea to make clear that (in particular) your mathematical skills will not dull in your gap year. Entering maths olympiads or looking into online maths puzzles can be helpful. Otherwise, you can read academic papers, watch CZcams lectures and explore any other super curricular activities.
@@JesusCollegeOxford1571 Thanks for the reply (: I said on my ucas I am studying the Isaac pre-university book series, learning additional further maths modules and doing the STEP program and reading a paper.
Perfect!
i am from India studying from CBSE(oxford accepts these qualification as per its website) but i heard it favours those applicants who have take AP. should i do so? Will it make my application more competitive?
It states here that CBSE is sufficient to make a competitive application: www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/applying-to-oxford/for-international-students/international-qualifications
I don't think you would need AP as well.
But will it Improve my chances
We need a graduate admission version
If I’ll be finishing highschool in 2025, when should I apply?
If you're finishing in the summer of 2025, you could apply in the autumn of 2024. That way you would start at Oxford in the autumn of 2025. You can apply with predicted grades, before you complete high school qualifications.
