- In this video I will be taking a closer look at the new epic precession rocket launcher "the Trombone" which only heats up target upon impact and deals little to no blast damage. I tested the the weapon with different setups and cabin to see what works best so hope you guys enjoyed this one.

another nice thing is, assuming people will get the missile lock-on warning, they'll put on their cloak thinking they're about to get hit with hurricane missiles or something, when it's just a 12 damage heating weapon, thus wasting their cloak
Faced it in CW today and it's quite annoying not Broken or anything just annoying.
This will be a nice option for builds that use two 6 energy weapons and can’t afford a third gun.
Incinerator 2x plus trombone is great
nice, short and informative, with some memes and editing: perfect, glad to have found your channel!
PS: all guided weapons can only shoot spotted targets (with red marker and stuff)

if the target is fully heated. then yes :) its a great fire and forget support
@@mich2860 is one trombone enough to heat the target fully?
1 doesn't heat the target fully you need at least 2 do heat like 90% of a small build

Trombone is the missile aurora
I found them VERY efective when paird with Flute rockets
Nests are good... But timeing the fireing while aiming at someone is a bit off on me
Something that i forgot to test is 6 pyres with dusk and this thing.

Weird, tought it would work with Harpy since it increases blast damage and ammo... and it does neither.
I think they wanted to see how effective it was first they might add it in the future or they just forgot

I think in hover beholder x2 retcher X1 trombone + colosus + seal retcher+heat= much DPS

Why no testing with a photon cabin? They probably do decent damage after the first volley once an opponent is heated up.
You'd need to use it with plasma guns though.

Photon perk works only with energy weapons. You can pair up the Trombone with some energy weapon but those guns usually are mid short range and Trombone needs some distance to hit. I think Trombone will be great with Pyres, Hurricanes and Nests or range weapons
nobody asked me to do that and yes it is quite good because i did test it.
@@Juggernautdemon like Daniele said, Photon's perk only gets applied to energy weapons. The perk would be useless with any other weapon like the reaper combo Jb did in the video.

How close can you be to an enemy before they can't hit?
Almost the same distance as the nest so around around 25-40 meters they will try to turn and hit their target but if they move a little weird it's gonna miss.
