I love them. You really need to tap fire. Sometimes 3 shots and oponent is degunned. May be not your playstyle

Since autocannons also deal explosive damage, have you tried them with the Harpy cab?
The buff from the cab works with the autocannons quite nicely.

Just built a fresh on a ghost cabin… +20% damage bonus after cloak drops + distance bonus = making it rain mini cannon shells
I wish these weapons would get some love....but projectile speed is to slow for large distances....but you need that distance to do some damage....i paired it with a harpy, which increases a bit of the damage...but still not enough.....and i would like them to be good so bad!...hehehe...great vid JB...thanks for sharing and keep it up!!
Whirlwind was replaced by still wind because still wind can handle close quarters better and with the wedge and fire dog meta being an issue it makes sense to use something that's a bit more flexible (range and damage wise) than to something that's built primarily for long range combat.
It would be awesome if they added an option for Omni/legs/hovers that would lock your weapons forward and front direction to where the mouse is aiming, if that makes any sense… so the movement parts move with the mouse horizontally

i have used my 3 fused whirls for so long. i never see them in battle. running them at 12k. their hit so hard from distance. i love them. :D
I lovethis autocannon, I have a build I religiously use with two or three of these and a scope 😀

Use them semi-auto/rapid single click style. Lead and drop for far targets. Ditch the scope. Lower power score mobile build. Shreds; WW is a vanilla weapon but rewards expert play.

@punkerkiller Yeah hes not great at the game, hes definitely more of an entertainer than a strong player lol. Holding down trigger on crater across the map (and not using scope when you definitely should be to strip weps from a distance, just keep an eye on your minimap), engaging the dogs chasing him by walking closer to them (and just bad positioning), not using strafe + rotate + back / forth to shake the dog off, then immediately raging at the fire dog and shitting on the wep when just seconds before he was dealing literally thousands of damage to enemies who couldn't do anything back to him.
My first epic weapon. Really fun in the 6-8k range, maybe 9k, but after that Stillwinds and Cyclones are more viable. I'm really more of a cannon guy and Caucasus guy anyways.
I've mained this thing for most of my playtime up into 13k. I know I'm not optimized, and I can still pull mvp. If you can aim, you can still play.

I think you gotta drop the PS by quite a bit. Just picked up two of them to play at 9k maybe a week ago using em with bigrams, fused cooler + rad and consistently getting 1-3k score every match (unless its sector x), sometimes even outright killing enemies on maps like crater before they even make it to the center. Also tap firing precisely onto weps from a distance is gunna strip anything shy of cannons in no time, definitely not a wep you wanna hold down the trigger on or just fire at center mass. Its super engaging if you don't just aim center mass
this was the first epic I grinded for, just for the perk, but I believe it has a max damage that isn't in the description

Whirlwinds are unpopular simply because they take actual skill to use.
And their hit box is enormous, let’s be real.
I use these alot an a track build and they sound like ur just banging 2 pans together lol.

u get lower PS, no energy source needed (they have high PS ratings)
also in my opinion using a legendary cabin with epic weapons is just bad for your PS
I'm ready to craft 2 relics and I really do not know what to build. I already have 2 porcs but I'm inclined to go for 2 punishers...
I'm not great with hoovers nor cannons. What do you guys think?

My first purples were Whirlwinds. Sniping as a new player is the best option. if your used to shooting it the perk is good.

I've had Whirlwinds for quite some time now. But I've barely used them in all that time...
It's not a bad weapon, but it's just meh.
I'm most probably just going to use them for crafting other weapons. So I can get a Reaper or something. Because I love miniguns!
Sniping in crossout is like fist fighting agenst 10 tanks.
5 people rushing you, now what? Yeah next battle and its all the same.
Imo we need more open maps like the crater.

I agree JB a very boring weapon to play.
I'm either an incinerator or yongwang main, just made a fused deadman, flywheel, averter, yongwang build at around 7.5k ps and its so much fun, best power score is between 7 and 9k ps in my opinion 🙂
JB Ryder, you're amazing at mid range combat like most civilians you focus exciting approaches. Us military types thrive firing back with some impact. If you're rocking auto cannons you needs a scope and a gap and a buddy with big brass ones. Who's counting von you to explode something critical to their aggressors intentions. We like to try to back the bots, their w recklessness and falls thrill seeking offer us impactful shots, that by current scoring goes unsung. Just saying not everything cavalry is running during charge faze. Peices

Dangerous weapon in the right hands, but if gajin reading this then yes they rubbish and need a buff
I think they are fine as they are, I mean, what do you expect from an epic weapon? Without perk they are too weak, but with perk they are too strong... so it might be hard to balance them correctly without changing the whole meta of the game.
Gravastar, the only epic weapon that could be powerful without its dumb perk

Whirlwinds are a good weapon when used at the right or and the user knows how to use them. Plus I dont like how you compare epic weapons to legendary. Of course legendary are better they are designed to be better hence the title.

Whirls got some good building blocks, then there is that "pay off" and everyone hears sad trombones. Low level credit card players may like it to stay far far away, but anything else?
Good lord, don't give the devs ANY ideas about nerfing radars. People don't pay any attention to their minimaps as it is, don't penalize the only non-brain dead players who do.
