I’ve been thinking a lot about this. Wouldn’t it be funny if i took it in a tent or on a boat? And then in the beginning of the lesson only the top of the guitar is showing. And then I’m like wait I just need to start my guitar! 5 minutes into the lesson🤣

as a guitarist and motorized bicycle rider, this is fricken awesome. 4 stroke engine is quieter and more reliable. i love the pull start location. great looking build too.
With engines this small I actually kinda doubt a 4 stroke would be more reliable. 4 strokes are way more complicated so scaling it down you have lots of teeny tiny parts that can fail.
Im only a guitarist :/ so it's probably more awesome for you

Not exactly gas powered itself, but there was an entire orchestra set of instruments made out of car parts, and cars are mostly gas powered, so in certain way, it was derivative of gas powered machine.

Honestly, this is a great idea and you essentially also became your own fog machine. However, a better idea for powering might be magnetic power since it would be a lot quieter and you can actually hear your playing much better. Oh and it should be much more compact, but it is up to you.

Just a heads up, be very careful running an engine (regardless of size) indoors for long periods of time, as Carbon Monoxide Poisoning is a serious threat while indoors. Stay safe!
I know I’ve been warned 100 times when I first pitched this idea! most of the time I had setup a fan that was draining things straight outdoors. But there is one scene in the end were it got smokey! In like 10 seconds of it running. Caught me off guard

Mattias, from an artistic standpoint, all of the details of the seatbelt, tremolo arm, pull cord, exhaust pipe, Ferrari red, heavy metal style, etc. are just incredible. You outdid yourself. I’d love to play that guitar hahaha.

Add a spark plug into the exhaust and it will spit fire. Also, I would put a small, separate string section on the guitar body that is picked with a pick wheel if you will powered by the engine.

Good Idea to insert a transducer circuit, which will analyze the sound produced by guitar, and make engine sound in the same key.
The pull start makes it just like Haruko's bass from FLCL
