You’re gonna love that 3D printer! You should try making some drift tires with it. I tried that a little while ago, and it was a ton of fun!
I did the same thing with my slash. I hit a crack and broke the 3-d printed wheel clean off. 😂 I will be reprinting a much stronger set.

I just bought the same 3d printer a few weeks ago and have been having a lot of fun with it. Ive already made replacement shock cap lowers since i lose them all the time. Can't wait to see what you create with it.

Kev get a Traxxas bigfoot its a shelf queen but I play with it anyway its 2WD and has a brushed motor and goes around 30 MPH with the battery it comes with or with lipo (only 2 cell lipo) it goes around 35 MPH. And you got me into rc cars and I love this hobby! Keep up the good vids!

Can't wait to see the 3d printer. You need a few upgrades in order to print nylon filament with the ender 3. Happy to see someone try this out so I don't have to figure it out on my own!

Hey Kev I have that exact 3D printer, one problem I had was that the hot end fan was either weak or defective because I kept getting clogs after a couple of prints and eventually every print. It drove me insane because I couldn’t figure it out. It’s called heat creep. After I printed out the hero-me gen5 fan ducts with upgraded fans I have never had a problem printing. I also recommend using Cura for the software(free) has way more adjustments and tinkering you can do and easier to use than the creality software.

Ender was definitely a good choice for a 3d print.. I built my first fpv drone a year and a half ago, and enjoy it so much I haven't even looked in the direction of my rc cars.. There's a lot use for 3d printing In that hobby if you plan on selling parts

i use just normal caulking for windows and doors forR/C bodies works just as good as shoe goo and is much cheaper and you get much more per tube.
That thing looks more and more epic with every mod! Gotta get me one at some point~

The problem is the servo saver not the servo bro. Bead locks are gonna be awesome🤙👍💪
Kevin i would recommend taking of the wheelie bar it looks more realistic and drives a lot more realistic I did the same thing and it makes it more fun

Nothing kills an RC's fun, more than a sloppy servo saver! Inconsistent, wobbly and needs the width of a field to turn! Blehhhh!!!
I just got my ender 3 v2 a few days ago. My brother shows up with 3 rolls of pla and a list of prints he wants for his scx24s and trx4. First round of parts came out good.

I bought a Ender 5 Pro 3d printer myself to fab RC parts myself. Good choice there kev. I have contact with a guy who helped me configure and set mine up and even modify mine to be a beast of a printer via remote support. Hit me up if you want me to put you in touch with him. I also sent a friend request off Claire if you want to make the connection that way. This guy does industrial printing for a living and knows his stuff

1:13 Just had to deal with that shit with my Kraton 6S servo replacement w/ a SAVOX, piece of crap 23T spektrums, that's some apple-level of assholery. Good news is I got the HotRacing horn + link and it looks BADASS!

Maybe it would be better with some gearing that prevents the steering from being backdriven, prevents impacts on the wheels being pushed by the linkage into the servos?
