Hey thanks so much for the heads up with this Alex! Trqk looks awesome, it seems smoother and more informative than TuneSat. And will definitely help a lot of us grow our licensing careers. Cheers my friend :)
Great video Alex! Very informative and useful, thanks for sharing.
Intresting site! always fresh stuff from you, thanks a lot Alex !
Thank you Alex for always sharing these awesome tools with us :)
Great video Alex!
Very informative!
thanks man!
Thanks for the video. As always interesting !
Thanks for that informative video!
hey alex, I think this is great especially for composers. the principles behind it are actually not ground-breaking at all, its what you can do with a relational database: connecting all the data dots and show them in graphical statistics (..I did this myself for my labels with universal, hence I know a bit about the background ;)).
neitherless, I absolutely agree with you this is gold for composers who don't want to dive into database architecture or the like!
Hey, thanks for chiming in. Your last words nailed it for me ... who don't want to dive into database architecture ... so basically 99 out of 100 composers :D
Super Video 😃😃😃😃😃
Very nicely done Alex!
Thanks mate! :)
what is pop concerts on my performance royalty accrual report??? And can you receive more than 1 accrual report???
Great video Alex!
Any reason for favouring bmi than gema?
bit difficult, let's say back then there was a little problem when wanting to work in the video games sector but also write license music. It seems to be sorted out because GEMA only allowed to include every track you ever write. Even though this has been solved, game companies are still a bit sceptical when it comes to this and hardly anyone would like to work with GEMA registered composers. Again, this was my impression from around 2012 when I had to decide which PRO to pick.
Nice!
Thanks bro!
@@AlexPfeffer You're welcome. Thank you too!
Great video Alex!
I am currently using TuneSat for that purpose. Is Trqk any different or better?
TuneSat, of course, is cool but as far as I know, it is only track detection and doesn't give you any of those cool stats and insights. Besides that, the pricing is absolutely not comparable. US and Europe, detection of 100 tracks is around 187 USD per month, while with Trqk you get that for 56 USD (170 USD per quarter). I mean if it works it works, but I feel I am getting a bit more out of Trqk. To be fair, I have absolutely no experience when it comes to missing track reports and compensation.
@@AlexPfeffer Thanks Alex! I don't have experience either but from what you showed in the video I think it's good idea to try Trqk out.
Hey Alex, is registering with a PRO compulsory if I want to licence my music to music libraries?
absolutely, yes!
@@AlexPfeffer I see, thanks for the quick response Alex 🥂
4$ from germany is probably for the rpg games from 2010s haha
Bwahahah! :D

Sounds to me like your music has been used on a pop concert. During the break or as an intro sound, etc.?
