He did such a good job! No need to be embarrassed when your baby cries. He's only communicating. I don't necessarily get annoyed by crying babies. I actually feel sympathy for the parents who are trying to calm them because I know they (the parents) are probably frustrated from trying to keep baby from disturbing others. I'm glad you didn't feel judged! ❤️❤️

It is so important for young adults to see it is possible to still do fun things and take your baby with you! Fun doesn’t end when you have kids! We’ve got a three year old and an 8 month old and we still do lots of things we love with them. Actually it makes it MORE fun watching our toddler start to love what we love and experience our favorite things for the first time. Thank you Matt and Abby for being such a solid example of a loving marriage and loving parents. I wish we lived in Arizona, we could be friends 🤣❤

Griffin did so well! I’m so proud of you guys! You did crazy well, you guys settled with a plane and really considered everything and anything. It’s not easy travelling with a baby, I’ve done it with my younger sister (she was 2, and it was only half the time, so 4 hours), so it was super crazy and hard. You guys worked together and made a perfect team! ❤
People are honestly super surprising. One time my whole family (including my 1 year old baby cousin) took a trip to Disney. The whole flight over he screamed and cried. Everyone including the passengers, flight attendants, and captains were so nice. Everyone asked if they could help and they even took him into the cockpit. People like this really make the world a better place. ☺️

My husband and I started flying with our littles as young as two months old and I don’t regret it at all!! They are currently 6 and 7 and the BEST travelers. Keep it going you two! You’re doing awesome!

awww cute, you guys took care of this so well for your first time!! woww!! i remember when i was little my family does lots of travelling because we are very fortunate to have lots of money to be able to do that but since my little brother is only a toddler his flights dont tend to go well even though hes not a newborn anymore! but my advice if griffins ever screaming sometimes it may mean his ears need to be popped. my advice is to hold griffins nose for afew seconds and take it off for afew seconds every so often and it will sooth the pain, hope your both doing well you guys rock at this whole parenting thing! cant wait to hear more about your trip! :)

You guys are living my life right now, we had our baby shortly after you. We flew from the UK to Florida with him a couple of weeks ago and we’re flying to Memphis on Thursday also. Our 9 hour flight and a following 3 hour flight were a dream with him. No problems at all, hoping for an equally pleasant onward journey in a few days.

We just recently came back from our trip with our 2 month old. It was definitely super stressful but so thankful we did it! He loved the trip and everyone was generally super understanding and patient when he did cry. You guys did incredible! #breadtfeedingonaplane

I have a 15 month old and Christmas Eve we have a 7 hour flight from NJ to England. She normally does very well on 5 hour or shorter flights. I am hoping she does just as well as Griffin.

I think you guys are amazing parents. My mum alsways says that sometimes babies just don’t want to be on planes and that everyone else should just except that babies cry. We all understand that you don’t want to cry, but babies don’t apply to the rules. You guys are doing a great job and are so inspiring. Good luck
I am that lady on a plane who adores babies, even if they cry.
I remember when I was seated with a Mama and her 2 babies on a packed flight. The connecting flight got cancelled and it was announced we would all be put up at a hotel. I could see the panic in that Mama’s eyes. I took that Mama and her babies under my wing. I helped her on the bus ride to the hotel. We went to dinner and I held her infant while his Mama and toddler sister ate a good meal. The next morning I helped her pack up and I helped her and her babies get back to the airport, get through security, back on the plane, and I stayed with her until her parents picked her and her babies up at the end of our rescheduled flight.
I was so lucky to be able to help a fellow Mama.
The entire experience was such a blessing.

I love it when I see a baby on a long durated transportation. A few days ago, I was on the train and a mom with a cute baby sat next to me. The baby kept laughing at me every time I looked over at her or I waved at her and it was so sweet

I think you guys did ver well! You guys are more calm and collected then I was with my SECOND child! I would have been a nervous wreck and probably would have had a panic attack before getting on the plane! Abby is just so adorable! Griffin was a champ! And Matt….
