I would suggest packing what you can a week earlier. It significantly decreases our stress levels. 😅 We are also less likely to forget something.
It’s hard to pack a week ahead for a lot of things with 2 young babies. A lot of the stuff that needs to be packed also needs to be used until the last minute. You can’t pack bottles; you can’t pack clothes; you can’t pack toiletries ~ you gotta pack last minute lol. Your kids need the sleepers and the Binkies and the bottles so you cannot pack them 🤣
Buy designated trip stuff such as bottles so you can pack a week ahead of time, I could never handle that stress I have 4 kids and going to the grocery store is like going into battle 😅
@@user-qg1sm5vr5f We have 2 young children. Yes, it’s challenging to pack ahead of time but it’s even harder to pack the morning of. If you start packing a week earlier, you can set aside a little time for packing over the course of a few days. You can definitely pack clothes and toiletries ahead of time. All you would need to do the morning of is add the items that were being used like favorite blankets or binkies and perishables such as bottles.

One time when I was in college and traveling home for Winter break there was a couple and their baby sitting next to me, and the baby was OBSESSED with the book I was reading (it was one of my textbooks 😂) But hardcover book, lots of cool textures and colors on it- kiddo spent a 2 hour flight just fascinated by it (like touching the cover with all the textures etc). What cracked me up is I was FULLY prepared to just hand the book over to them because the kiddo was obsessed with it- and after we landed the kid handed me the book and literally said “Bye!”

I don't usually comment...but why are you guys never better prepared? 🤣 It stresses me out. Next time, plan a few days in advance, make a list of everything you'll need to pack the day of, like pump, breastmilk, car seats, etc. And pack clothes a few days in advance. Then, when its the day of you're not scrambling around and if you forget a couple things, no big deal bc everything else is packed. It might be my personality, I like to make lists! 😅 No hate, love you guys!! You're still doing GREAT! ❤️

Ugh right?!!!! Not only that but they keep on doing this. Don’t know if it’s for the more views and clicks, but I’m sure they have flown with just the toddler before the baby was here and they weren’t even prepared at that time either, I think he blew his diaper and they had no extra clothes with them on the plane so she washed it and HUNG it up near the air vent…🤮 nvm correction, just re searched it and they had both kids at that time. Toddler was basically naked besides a diaper cause of the blowout, and they used the air vent above them, then their kid threw a temper tantrum that “not even ms Rachel could fix”🤦♀️ of course while filming everything. I get that they are young and stuff but it’s getting annoying at this point imo. I’m going to be a young parent but it seems like they are just prioritizing filming more than trying to be prepared as parents.
Life many times isn't so easy going especially with little ones. Who knows what was going one, a parent away, a parent or both sick, being tired. With kids your brain is in 1000 different places. In a perfect world yes agreed but not everything works out perfectly.
Do you know how hard parenting is? It's not always just oh yeah I'll do that blah blah blah it's just sometimes a thing that you just do. It's really hard with 2 under 2 and I know that I have experience as a mom of a 1 yr old and 2mo old so you can't expect them to not do those things and also you sometimes don't have time to pack 1 week prior especially with the kids and work so just think, ITS NOT EASY TO BE A PARENT OF 2 UNDER 2 @@Ariel-lol

6:50 pay for seats together or don’t complain when you get separated. yes it would be nice if they switch, but at the end of the day they did pay for THAT seat
Agreed... and if you are ever going to try to offer a switch, offer them what they would consider an upgrade from their current situation... NEVER a middle for their aisle/window. It's always worth paying the extra fee to reserve your seats ahead of time to avoid this very situation.

No, he's not. He literally didn't bother to pay for his wife to sit next to him. He had all the means to but he chose not to. And then he expected someone who actually paid to just give that up. It's not being upset, it's feeling entitled.@@user-vs5mi8bk1f

@@alexj4556 it’s not uncommon to simply ask to switch a seat on a plane he probably didnt think to much about it in the process, it cost more money, and they are already traveling with two kids I don’t think it was the first thing to cross their minds

I’m literally only 17 but your videos give me so much baby fever! Maybe in ten years or so I can think about that 😅😂 but your kids are so cute even without seeing their faces! I keep going back and watching your old videos. Even though you show how hard parenting is, you also make it clear how it’s so worth it all and how even the hard moments are something to cherish.

A suggestion. Have a travel packing list on hand and have everything done by the night before that you can. Two under two is a challenge in itself. I’m exhausted watching this. 😂

And you know how to keep calm and help with the kids and help your wife with whatever she needs. It's really amazing seeing you guys work as a true team. I hate to be that person but.... people do pay extra for aisle seats. I always do and I would not have switched either. Pay for your seats or they will split you up. You pay for the new house and Stanley's etc so you can afford to pay for seats.
That’s why they did swap in the end they just tried and you can’t blame them for that
You need to be way more organized and start packing at least 4 days before. I would start making lists of what you have to bring and check it off as you put it in the suitcase. You could laminate it and use that list for when you're coming home to make sure you grabbed everything. Just get an erasable marker . Also use packing cubes. Take the kids and put their outfits together in one and socks and underwear in the other or in your case diapers. Then pajamas and swimsuits in another. That way you have everything together and when you need a new outfit in the morning you just grab the set.

Most airlines have family boarding that board before everyone else. I flew by myself w my 2 year old and it was amazing!! Check before you purchase tickets.

My biggest tip for traveling with kids
Ship as much to the destination as possible. I have 4 kids ages 4-6 years and 3 of them being medically complex. I always ship as much as I can because it makes life so much easier in the airport
I was looking for this! Yes we ship diapers, wipes, toiletries and all that we can. Also have extra monitor and sound machine at the family’s house so I pack less

I find when traveling with my family, 2 weeks before we leave I make everyone a list of what to pack and then few days before leaving I pack everything!
My parents hauled four small children through airports regularly when they were younger. They are not impressed
I never flew with my kids when they were young, just because we didn't fly anywhere back then. But I think y'all did a great job! I feel for parents of young kids on planes and I will never be mad at them for a cranky/bored child.

Wow pak the night before and have a dang checklist, always pack more snacks and water then you think is needed... if you wanted to sit together then pay extra why should passengers give up seats because you didn't plan ahead ... both or your energies rub off on the kids so keep that in mind

I would suggest making a list that you can both access. I use digital with my husband and 2 boys. Separate the list into each kid and then tackle one each

Sorry Watching this just increases my stress levels. Stop vlogging for content when you have screaming kids and are that unorganized. Is it worth it? You shouldn’t be winging it with essentials for kids. If this was for dramatic effect you lost me. My priority is always ensuring the well being and safety of my kids. We all know travelling has its challenges. Be better prepared. It’s not like you’ve never done it before even if you have an additional child.
You'd think this would go very smoothly for how much they travel. Most people couldn't dream of traveling like they do, instead they do it once a year & are still much more prepared than these two!
Hey my hubby did it by himself after his 1st wife passed. I got 2 boys at 2.5 n 4 years old. I was a career woman, instant mom, wife. 31 years later they are in their mid to late 30's
