Wow, that writing is pretty special and very unique, I doubt the board got slipped away and written on when we were busy watching the card trick then popped back on stage once they new what card Simon picked, which is usually the case for these tricks, but that writing is too fancy and the way it clearly said Simon and Eric, there’s no way someone could scribble that down so quickly.
Unless the writing can be seen as different things by the power of suggestion.?

Very well done… I thought I had it figured it out, but at 2:31 - as he flips it back onto the deck he very slightly bends it and as he flips it back over to put it into Simons hand and if you pause at just the right second you can see there are two cards as he flips it over, simons card on top with Eric’s name that he keeps on the dexk and below it a blank card that goes into Simon’s hand, but…… how do they get the signed card over to the son into two wallets that quickly with nobody moving around. Normally there is a person under a table and drops the card below the table by slight of hand, that person then runs behind the scenes to another area, like where the boy is in the audience, but there was none of that going on… truly magical! I noticed right away the sign had Eric’s name on it but could not make out what the bottom words was until they turned it upside down, the the photo on the back of it. I’m just stunned by this whole thing!!
Maybe the twin brother had something to do with it… he only appeared on stage once to unveil the sign, hmmmm!
Edit! After watching another video that reveals the trick after this one, I was mostly correct, but I won’t reveal it here for you all to figure out!!

The card was never in the wallet,. The father passed the card to the son , sleight of hand.
@@user-tf6vq9tz6b No, the wallet had a back entrance, which is obvious when he tells us that there is only one way in, through the zipper. 3:32 When a magician tells you information like that it is usually a lie. He slipped it into the back entrance of that wallet while he took it out of the first wallet.
@@rievaulxlucienne1176 the way the son took the card out of the wallet to me looks like it's already in his hand. Look closely.

Honestly its a beautiful trick but not that hard to understand when you know the basics of magics like double lift, palming and misdirection to named a few. (I dont want to spoil too much) Great act overall, I liked the idea and the creativity behind it

@@robbert6393 he forced the selection of the 5 of hearts so before the show on the board they already had the set up. And Simon's son Eric everyone knows this. Like i said a beautiful trick but well executed with an original twist but not that hard to figure out. It did not fool me

@@robbert6393 you always come well prepared. Listen carefully to what he says and he guides him into this direction. A lot of mind tricks uses probability and stats to work. Yes it could be risky. Also lets say he writes another name on the card. His kid had probably other pockets with other 5 of hearts and other name on it. And listen to the story over the white board he talks about how a father and son relationship is important so even if Simon would not put Eric's name on the card he still can makes this work.
