In this video we go drone fishing off tokerau beach in north land New Zealand with my dad. Where we have a few unexpected hiccups and I catch something VERY unexpected! Aka covid-19 off my parents 😂😭 luckily symptoms weren’t too bad so
A few weeks later we then take you back to the kitchen where I make multiple delicious meals out of this fresh fish we caught including ika mata (raw fish) and fried-fish udon noodles.

I want to make a landing pad that sits about 1.3 m above the sand Stab it in like a rod holder To keep the sand away from the motors and my eyes

Hey thanks for watching! This is a Mavic Air 2 with Gannet Sport release it can carry about to around 600g and folds right down into a small carry bag. Amazing piece of kit!

Kiwis are lucky not like us aussie we can only have a maximum 3 hooks on one line and 4 rods per person

Yea we do have looser rules for sure!! If using it on a big longline we’re allowed 25 😐

Haha yea 4 is quite a few although if I'm live baiting with the wifey we'll have 2 drone 1 bait rod and 1 topwater for lure fishing

Firstly, just in case or conversion rate it's around 1:2 ratio from NZD to USD
🤣🤣🤣this is premium export lamb cutlets and yep NZ meat and food in general is hideously expensive because we have no food subsidies and all our food is sold at export prices as we export 95% of the food we produce... however I myself work in food manufacturing and export so 🤷‍♂️ I'm not complaining about the high prices! 😅

Drone fishing? Yea NZ saltwater fishing is pretty loose eh. It's almost like our "2nd amendment" we take salt water fishing as our right that seriously 🤣🤣
