@@DrunkenCoward1 I have never seen any evidence to suggest that. The Wikipedia Category: Ancient Roman centenarians has only 5 names (only notable figures ofcourse) for an empire that lasted 985 years. It happened, but it wasn't common.

Back when I played Medieval 2 on disk, I was able to force myself to be at peace with the rebels through diplomatic interactions with other factions, a couple of times. Never have been able to replicate that on steam, maybe it was stealth patched.

im pretty sure it's because ISP messed with his game files, and accidentally added rebels to the playable faction, so they got diplomacy on accident
First play through I got this I think it’s when a diplomats faction dies and the diplomat defaults to being a rebel.

Step 1: Conquer Patavium. It has 6% pop growth or something.
Step 2: Build everything that increases population growth in Patavium
Step 3: Spam hoardes of peasants in Patavium
Step 4: Conquer Europe with ease since barbarian factions sucks
Step 5: Send peasants to low pop/pop growth provinces you conquered. Then disband them. This will increase province population. Thus allows you to upgrade settlements.
Step 6: Use Patavium to populate Europe. Build farm upgrades and sanitation everywhere. Don't build temple of Ceres. Build temple of Jupiter. So you'll have lower corruption.
Congrats! Now you have high pop powerhouse faction. The only problem is you have to deal with rebellions more often. Just keep the taxes low or normal. The money you got from farming and trade can sustain you

when your general dies you can keep reaload so many times that he will never die, for example my king of sparta was about 120 years old and then he turned 0 age :D so he was about 200 years old in the end of my campaing xDD
(i guess they just used 7 bits for age variable)

Was playing Rome Total War as the Selucids on very hard when this video appeared. Still really enjoy this game a lot after all those years! Somehow it just feels a lot nicer to play this game than any total war after Medieval 2. Probebly has something to do with the fact that i like the old look of the game, and that i really like to mess around with the family tree..... promoting Generals that perform well to be the faction heir, killing of entire parts of the tree because the generals there are the childs of the man that lost a major battle.... it all just feels so good!

@@MarcusRayGonzalez haven't tried that mod yet. Only played vanilla and Darthmod. But now i am finaly playing on very hard, so probebly will try EB sometime.

I'm Surprised ISP didn't just edit the game files so he can have access to all the factions. Even the ones you aren't meant to play even if you conquered them in a campaign. Good fun playing as the Rebels which are completely Broken.
