I realize that these bikes were created primarily for the novelty appeal and thats great.
I'd still love to see some performance stats on these machines

Motorcycles or other ground-based vehicles are a good place to use available Rotec radials, after a few scares folks are losing confidence in them as aircraft powerplants.

Radial engine motorcycles... an answer without a question.
I wonder how much the gyroscopic effect affects the cornering, for a vertically mounted engine? Turning one way will tend to lift the nose, reducing front wheel grip, and turning the other way will push the nose down, increasing the steering effort. Also, the bike will resist leaning into the turn. For a horizontally mounted engine, the only effect will be that the bike resists leaning into the turn, with some change in front/rear balance going with that lean.
But maybe the forces will be similar to a standard block engine. I dunno.
That's a good point. I wonder if you can get the engine idling at a high enough speed that the bike wouldn't tip over even when standing gstill?
It's not like it's a giant flywheel. The crank isn't THAT heavy.

With that super small gas tank if you did a full throttle run it would be empty in 30 seconds.
After a few blips of the throttle it sounded like it emptied!

i'd like too see a radial engine powered bike set up for drag racing.
Aircraft engines are designed to run at 2000 to 3000 rpm because propeller work best at that rpm. Aircraft engines make massive amounts of torque.
The flat radial one would be hard to turn corners on with the engine acting like a giant flywheel, be hard to lean in to the corner I think.
Only the crankshaft spins.

Those things are worthless but damn are they marvels of backyard engineering and skill. Im sure those guys are all extremely successful in the job sector.
I have flown in a T-6 and a Stearman, my only two encounters with a radial engine.

So are any of these guys going actually get on it and show how it runs rather than just above idle whats the point unless your going to use it. Thought about building but have yet to see what these motors are capable of. All my vmaxs from 85 to 2015 some turbo but curious of the torque on these motors so if anyone has some videos please share

Why would think that a radial engine should Face Forward like that on an airplane instead of being transverse mounted for better Cooling when riding forward on the road so that all the cylinders can be equally cooled when operating on the road but seeing that these engines are mounted differently wouldn't at least two maybe three cylinders whould overheat to the extreme.?

I don't see how those plane engines keep from over heating cause there not built for that ,there's no air flow threw the cylender fins.
Isaac White I don’t think they really get ridden much. Just revved up a few times under no load. More of a show thing.
5 CARBS that was funny how they had to cover them up so it would start probably just cold start hope he has all his buddies with him when when it comes to 1st start up not a good idea to leave open like that get to much crap in the carbs unless just show bike but I'm sure a ggod ride I wouldn't leave them open
