The guy in the yellow shirt came up with so many random stereotypes for muslims which I wasn't even aware of, despite being a muslim myself.
I totally agree
I just find out they think only middle eastern + north african r muslim

The interviewer kept interrupting his quick wit
He’s just insecure about himself, I’ve never seen anyone’s insecurity Ooze so much. Like what’s the point of acting dumb by relating religion to race or acting like you don’t know what a North Africans looks like. Then he mentions at the end “i learned today not all Muslims are dark” like what bro, Arabs aren’t even Dark and you know that.
I would just say "Assalamualaikum" and see how each of them react to that.

So I'm Nigerian and we're an almost equal mix of Christian and Muslim religions and I think that there were a lot of assumptions about what people would or wouldn't do, wear or would not wear ec cetera as well as forgetting the influence of environment on behaviour and so on. I'm saying all those because I'm Christian but I love head scarfs, mostly because I grew up in the Northern mostly Muslim region, I don't eat pork, again because I've never had the chance to and I don't do my nails because I'm a medical student and it just doesn't make sense to have for 2 hours and then remove. I guess I'm saying that there were a lot of stereotypes and I probably would not have made my assumptions based on the questions that were asked. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the video.

“Her parents aren’t together so she’s not Muslim”
That makes no sense at all ... what does a person’s parents relationship have to do with their race or religion??
Amongst the Muslims I knew personally at school there was a stigma about single parent families. They looked down on it and also it wasn't always easy for their mom's to leave their dads. That's only the Muslims I knew. I don't know every Muslim in the world!!
@@soloadam88 you do realize the number of sexual assaults against kids and girls are 1000times more in france and other atheist and Christian countries than in Saudi Arabia? In England alone there are 5million kids got aborted while there is no such things in Saudi Arabia?
Another fact if you live in Saudi Arabia you don't have to worry about getting food while in England the UNICEF is giving charity to the poor kids in england let alone the fact adults needs food too
I know right
@Jasmine B I said more than once that's the Muslims I knew. I can only talk about the Muslims I've met and that's what they were like. Like I said I haven't met every Muslim in the world so I don't know how I was generalising. I didn't say all Muslims are this and all Muslims are that.
@Jasmine B Also you said that you've met Christians/Jews/Athesists who were like that because that's the society we live in. Well yeah... so I've met Muslims like that because that's the society I live in. The OP asked what's a person's parents relationship got to do with their race/religion? A persons culture and religion can have a big impact on how they see the world. What they think is and isn't acceptable can be framed by their religion. I grew up in church and I'm lgbtq so I know a person's religion can have a big impact on a lot of things. Why not how they view single parent families?
That blue shirt guy is so nice and hilarious! I'm dying laughing the way he talks😂❤

"I value peace, love, family"
Oh my god :")
I love videos like this because it truly is interesting to see how people think and reason. It was heartbreaking to see and hear some of the things the guy in the yellow shirt and green pants was saying because they're so uninformed, ignorant and just plain presumptuous. And the worst part was that he wasn't learning to tone it down by taking note of people's reactions. Like I would've adjusted my tone and direction just noting how people reacted to some of the things he was saying. You can't use stereotypes like he was. I just watched a video where the people had to guess the sexual orientation of strangers and there was this beautiful and kind muslim girl (tall drink of water, white scarf and tan dress with black leggings and sandals) who identified as pansexual and i legit wish she was on this one too because she would have respectfully tackled this dude and correct him. I think everyone was just so calm and tolerant that they weren't too offended but they're all so nice. I would've corrected him.
Also, Islam is not an ethnicity or race. Religion isn't dependant on your place of birth. You can embrace Islam or any religion for that matter.
I'm not a practicing muslim because of personal reasons but growing up in the religion, i know how peaceful and beautiful it is at it's core. The message got muddled by a few bad people but the rest are all kind and tolerant people. My great grandfather was an Imam and he was one of the best men i knew. I learnt to be unapologetically tolerant from him as he preached the message of acceptance. What comes with that is the power of observation and education. You listen, you watch and you adapt. The yellow shirt guy should learn that. Also learn to read the room. They may have laughed but if it was him on the receiving end of uniformed stereotypes, he wouldn't have taken it that lightly.
As a more spiritual person, I'm always in awe and admiration for those who are still able to feel that connection. My call felt cut a long time ago but the fact that others are still connected is beautiful so to see that is always heartwarming.
Lastly, what is the situation for the guy in the beanie like? He's super cute and cool and chilled and awkward and hot. Also, he's in a beanie which is already cute.

here we go again
edit: i think some of y'all didn't get the point if this. that girl came in front of the guy with the yellow shirt and he was like: how many siblings do you have ? she said that she has one sibling. and then he immediately went like: she's not a muslim.
the thing is no matter how you look like, what you wear or how many siblings you have, it literally says nothing about your religion or you as a person.
okay, i agree that muslim families have sometimes a lot of kids but that doesn't mean that every muslim family has to have that many.
thank u for ur time
Yup
I'm literally the only child in a Muslim family it's just me,my mum and our maid
no actually im muslim and i have 2 brothers and my friends are the same only with 3+ or 4+ i guess

"I wear my religion in my heart" this is such a cute thing to sayyy I love it
Actually it's an excuse not to wear hijab which is not a personal choice, it's in God's holy book
@@lolathedreamer5488 Exactly !
@@lolathedreamer5488 true
@Shireen Makda i was just saying that people still don't realize that it's a duty to wear hijab it's mentioned in the quran it's not a matter of choice... Not getting in anybody's way, I'm just stating my point of view
@Shireen Makda u don't have to be sorry, it's all good in the hood hhh

There's something so wrong with the American education system. They seem so unaware of the world around them. no hate. just a general observation.
💯Great observation
Its weird, maybe they dont think its important because they feel like they are the center of the world.
I’m American and I had to do research on my own outside of school. Also, I’ve lived in ethnic urban areas of cities and just asked questions
we literally don’t and it’s so embarrassing. most ppl i know dont know basic geography (including me) cuz we were never taught in school. if u asked me to point to a certain country on a map i would probably not know where it is. i couldn’t even name all the states in the US if i had to or show where they are. on top of that i don’t even know all the president country has had. our education system is so messed up we are literally stupid
@@gabby4972 I'm sure not stupid. Just don't have the information. Which could be because there probably wasn't ever a need and therefore want, to know about the rest of world. Why that is? No idea. Any speculation from my end could tend to be biased so I'll refrain. 😂
"Were you born and raised in America?"
"19 years in Washington"
"Where were you before Washington?"
*processing*
*facepalm*
Honestly, I was thinking the same thing because he looks much older than 19.
I thought that guy is AT LEAST 26. He's 19. Lol
Really happy that people make these kind of videos i loved this video
Love islam it’s real religion
not gonna lie, but parker and the pakistan guy REALLY fits in the vibe of this lineup. I could see both of them being friends with this lineup
