I appreciate that Malcolm mentions hispanics as being sort of dispossesed as a voter block. I'm psuedo hispanic, im second generation puerto rican, but the broader hispanic community assimilates very happily into conservative American values.
My grandfather was born near Isabela, and one of the things he told me about Puerto rico is that the butcher was also a mechanic, carpenter, accountant, everyone wore many hats out of necessity.
It's one of those things that has both helped and hurt some hispanic cultural groups, the help being they are extremely survivable and endurant against change, but we also tend to end up jacks of many trades and masters of none. And using the place as a tax haven is missing out on a culture that parrallels American Protestantism in terms of the understanding that work is inherently virtuous, even if they get there by different means.
I never understood the antagonism towards hispanic culture from other Americans, because I see two cultural tracks that are already headed in a similar direction. And hispanic cultures are speed running their way through all of europes historical blunders but doing so in absence of giant world wars and such, and places like el salvadore, puerto rico, and to a degree argentina, are slowly internally americanizing themselves domestically. So the blanket halting of immigration from places that have atrong cultural overlaps seems counter productive and asanine to me, this seems like a relationship worth fostering if your end goal is society full of a strong protestant work ethic, a broad belief that work is virtuous in and of itself, and that culture is important prema facie, this would be a group of places you would WANT to be available to you, and are happy to make themselves available.

An important fact off and left out is that colleges and universities are not socially ingrained because they are politically paid for by student loans and the teachers are responsible to no one outside of the high school students needing to go to college to get a good job. So between the money from the government and lack of social interaction with adults except for alumni who want the connection to the school for networking, the schools have no social connections with business, improvement, and all things that make the world great. Even many things that make the world great do come from the schools because that is just the nature of humanity. So encouraging the nature of humanity rather than the colleges and professors and government is the best plan and makes the most sense to me.

31:00 - Little correction: Germany has private schools - Catholic, Montessori and Waldorf at least.
Also, for all I know the Turkish birthrate is going down. The crucial element was that they had the right to bring in very young spouses from their own country, maybe even minors around 16. This has been ended some years ago, and the women growing up locally are closer to the left. Turks also tend to be quite hedonistic, and even in the past they had children rather a bit later in life.
Right now and in the near future it's probably rather various Africans versus Arabs.

This is the general trend with immigrants: they may have high natality for 1 generation. Then it drops to native levels. Besides, Turkey's birthrate is way down.

Hi Ninja, l owe you an explanation and am actually extremely embarrassed that you felt compelled to have to reply to my posts. Ninja, for a long time now my way of raliing against PC has been to be as un-PC as possible. Given how far to the Left Ben, Leslie and most of the viewers here are, it's definitely best that you're here and I've long accepted that. My initial comment was a general one and the subsequent one rhetorical.
Ninja, you allowed a heated discussion between myself, CF and some nutzi the other day - l don't have any problem with you at all.

    • @NinjaKittyBonks
      @NinjaKittyBonks Před měsícem

@@user-vv8xs8bz1r ... Fair enough. I would ask what is your definition of "far to the left"? I would argue that Ms. Leslie is more left leaning than I, but I have no problem with those on the left... my issue is with "leftism". That is to say, ideologically driven to follow specific dogma and have no social identity beyond it. The responses, comments and replies are formulaic as can be, as they were indoctrinated to simply repeat that dogma at all times. This does not in any genuine way, a reflection upon "the left" or liberals, as there is ZERO liberalism in leftism or the leftist mind.
      .
Benjamin is not quite as open with his politics, as Leslie and this is by design. He is not big on being the interviewed and keeps his politics close to the vest. He makes no hesitation to call out the ideology of leftists, but has spoken to soo many who were captured and then cast out, after realizing that a life of "trans" was not for them.
      .
As for heated discussions with CF... ya, seen a lot of those 🤣I would say probably 75% of them go farther than I would like, but I would rather have yt "flag" comments and await approval from me or Benjamin, than step in myself. I have stepped in a few times, but overwhelmingly, I simply drop a generic "play nice, kitty's 😺" and hope that calms the tension a bit. Rarely works, but sometimes I need to let others know that interactions that are contentious, do indeed spill out onto others "space" within the chat room and know for a fact that a few have never returned, because it can be disruptive. While I am not there to police the feelings of others, neither I nor Benjamin wish to see chat be "disrupted" by chatters getting into personal slights / insults.
      .
I am fiscally and politically quite firm on the right. I am not very far left of center, but my opinions and positions are extremely well considered, so I am very rarely moved from them. That said, there is at least a small space in nearly all of my positions, that are "grey" and as with any rule.... there are always exceptions.
      .
PS> If you would like to make your "Handle" name (as seen in comments here), the same as your channel name, I can explain how that can be done. My guess is you did not choose to be "user-vv8xs8bz1r", but hey... I could be wrong 🐈

G'day Andrew, I've long enjoyed reading your Comments on a wide array of topics as you speak a lot of sense but you couldn't be any more wrong about what you just said. I was baptised by a street preacher in a public pool 30 yrs ago and l was kind of disappointed God didn't part the clouds and say "hello" at that time. I didn't really feel any different being a Christian for a long time but came to understand everything in the Bible is true. We all undergo the same Conditioning in the West and so despite being a Christian l was still a leftie until relatively recently. Surely you'd agree that the further the Establishment has gone to the Left the more disastrous things have gotten?
The "political spectrum" is completely Fake. Notice how Radical Centre Leslie calls where she is the centre? The Truth is the Truth and there can't possibly be anything to the Right of that. And so everything to the Left of it is a lie as well. And the further to the Levt the weirder it gets...cos it's all lies and ordinary people have a conscience and are a wake-up to it excesses.
I'm assuming you think things such as nutziism is what the "far-right" is, and this is a common misconception, mostly because of State edumacation and Mockingbird Media. Also, the Liberal Party in Australia and the Tories in pommieland have always been liberal and the RNC in the US fascist - there is no "right-wing" and it's the "illusion of choice" that is spoken of. All of marxism, fascism and nutziism are close cousins

I was wondering why you focused so heavily on trans issues and men dressing up as women. You don't seem to place much importance on racial matters. Or you feel that nothing can be done to address anti-whiteism. That's a shame. Well, it was nice following you while it lasted. Thanks for the content. Bye.
