This also will bring top runners to Chicago. It is a very fast, flat course, but ideal weather conditions like today have proven rare. Cloudy, cool, light winds, & dry today & Kiptum took full advantage running a 61 second negative split! He ran miles 20 & 21 in 8:45! Truly awesome! Sifan & Ruth ran 1:05 the first half, ahead of the recent WR pace, & Sifan came back in 1:08, but Ruth could only manage 1:10. The Olympics next year will be awesome for both women & men!

At only 23, bro will run under 2 hours without the 41 pacemakers that Eliud had and make it official. His strength after running for 2 hours, he is taking this to a whole new level.

As a Kenyan I can tell you in a marathon age means nothing. its all about endurance. Come here and meet 50 year olds who do 20k every morning
